The BMW and MN rolls were fantastic. Service was not ultra speedy as the rolls are being made fresh however the quality was exceptional. Pricing is comparable to other Sushi restaurants of similar standing. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was an enjoyable experience.

Quaint, cozy, great food and service. Unique menu items along with everything you'd expect from a high-quality sushi restaurant. Reasonably priced. Limited seating makes this place feel more personal.

Waited an hour for takeout. The spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll tasted spoiled. Was pretty disappointed with all the great reviews.

Contacted the business multiple times, no response. My meal was terrible. just some junk out of a bag warmed up that you could buy at Cub Foods. Nothing fresh about it. Lots of other things, just avoid this place. TV was on and the entire place could watch Die hard.. Serioulsly?

Wonderful local authentic Japanese restaurant in a super convenient location in Maple Grove. Plenty of tables. Nice ambiance Great menu. Lots of choices from traditional sushi to teriyaki dishes. Service is polite and fast. I had the grilled octopus appetizer which was amazing looking and delicious as well as the deluxe sushi assortment which came with soup and salad. Definitely a place to come back to.

Server was incredibly attentive, checked on us regularly and filled our drinks fast. What we didn't quite appreciate was that we ordered the steak and chicken hibachi meal, and the chicken and shrimp meal was brought out. When we brought it to their attention they pulled out their notes and said no you ordered chicken and shrimp. We can both guarantee we ordered chicken and steak - we didn't even consider the chicken and shrimp option.. We sat there in some silence before we were like ok we'll just eat it. We're hungry and aren't willing to argue about what we ordered. But yes, the right answer is the customer is always right and you should make it right. They offered for us to order a side of steak, not the comp us the side, but for us to put in another order. Again, the right answer was there, just not chosen. As for the rolls, nothing to write home about, rather average sushi to expect in a MN restaurant. The mushroom soup was not very good at all, the cook on the chicken was skeptical to me, and the veggies were some overdone and some underdone based on really varying cuts. We both really enjoyed the fried rice we requested with the meal. As for the rolls the BMW roll is a fried roll, and it was ok but incredibly fried. Like CRUNCHY fried. We prefer a softer fry. Star of the show for us was the pink lady roll! I am a sucker for a pink soy paper wrapped roll, and the flavor profile was superior to the BMW roll. All in all a decent experience, nothing that is begging for us to return, but nothing to avoid either.

I love this place. The staff is so nice and friendly. The food is really excellent. The sashimi is fresh tasting and delicious. The various rolls are well thought out and skillfully made (and tasty). If you're price sensitive, they do have a happy hour where they offer a nice discount on some of their premium rolls. Also, if you want to get takeout, I highly recommend this place. Their takeout is just as good and tasty as what you get dining in. Personally, I recommend the Love Boat for Two. A nice variety of sushi, sashimi, and rolls (as well as soup and salad).Parking: Parking is ample and free in the large lot.

Everything was very delicious I would definitely go back again except I would say one tab CNN or any news or Politics on their TV I would rather watch food network.

This is one of, if not the best Restaurant in Maple Grove. With a cozy location in the fountains shopping area, this restaurant has a very well made and very satisfying variety of Japanese foods. While I can't say much about the overall authenticity, I can mention that I have become a regular because of the consistency of food quality, good flavors, and positive sense of satisfaction across all meals tasted on the menu.Always recommend the Hibachi and always recommend bringing a friend!
