“I give this place five stars overall. The food was five stars, the service was five stars, and the atmosphere was four stars.My group and I started with the brussel sprouts. Our server suggested them. They were cooked to perfection in a sweet and the spicy sauce. There were delicious chops of bacon to accompany the sprouts.For the main course, I went with the Pad Thai with rotisserie chicken. 9 times out of 10 I'm going to order a dish that has some kind of mushroom in it. This came with shiitake mushrooms which were cooked excellently. The dish was very filling and I brought leftovers home with me.Our server was kind, attentive, humorous, and very easy to work with. Thank you for your service. I appreciate servers who are attentive but not overwhelming (ours fit this description perfectly).The only reason I cut a single star from the atmosphere section is because of the fake plants. Lol. I know a lot of companies use them and that they are commonplace, however I always find them really tacky.You have created a return customer out of me. Thank you. I will update next time with photos. “I hadn't been to Ambi for a year or so. I have always thought it was an adorable place with great service, wine, and food, BUT was really happy to see they've added more wine and food options, while still maintaining the same great level of service. “We stopped by randomly tonight for dinner. The food was excellent - the kale salad is to die for, the ahi tuna bites tasted so fresh and of course the burger was amazing. My 6 year old loved his kids meal (friend chicken bites). We shared mini donuts as well, which was the perfect dessert!The service was also 10/10. Our waitress was truly a wonderful, super efficient and gave great suggestions! Super impressed overall!“
“We had a nice quiet date night here on a Wednesday. Had the truffle gnocchi- it was bomb. I'll come back just for that! Our server was too young to drink to recommend a wine so I had her ask the bartender (I gave her some pointers of what I had in mind) and ended up finding a new favorite. The hostess, Tess, was also wonderful and bussed our table throughout our meal which was nice because we ordered 2 apps one at a time and then our meals and then dessert. Killing a couple of hours just enjoying a night out together. Definitely will be back!“
“Burgers are great, chicken is great, ribs are great, Orange Cheese cake is wonderful. Ribeye Steak not so wonderful. Gristly thought out I ordered med-well, and came well done, with burnt Fat edges, broccoli was over cooked and woody and with little florets and charred. Our server was very pleasant & attentive. Ambiance is nothing special; I had full view of a person doing detailed cleaning of the chicken rotisserie though out my meal. What a chore that is! We chose this place to dine maybe every 3-4 months it is very close to my Son's home, we have always had good service, next time only burgers, chicken or ribs for us! Never steak again! “My daughter and I stopped by the past couple afternoons on our way home after a couple of very stressful days - first for a treat and some delicious blueberry tea and second day for a snack to celebrate a hard fought win.
