Checked out Kitchen Zone for the first time & was really happy with the food! Lots of flavor & spice. Expect a small menu full of comfort food. #hmong #foodie #kitchenzone #saintpaul #minnesota #kapoon #pho #papayasalad #

For the pricing, it was okay. Ratings and reviews were high so I’ve been wanting to try it myself. The pho and khaopoon was a tad too salty; the laab namtaok was most disappointing as it seem like citrus was the only seasoning; sad to say that the spring rolls and crab rangoon appetizers were the best of what we had despite somehow the appetizers were last to be received at the table.

Decided to try this place out today and it was better than I expected! I normally don't order pho because the broth is always so damn sweet but this one wasn't. The beef rib was so tender and fell off the bone. Papaya was decent but it could be spicier. Chicken wings came with pepper as well. Overall, a decent place to eat at! I would come back.

It was our first time at Kitchen Zone: They were able to accommodate a group of 25 people. The service was great, they were kind, patient, informational, and friendly. With a group of 25, I was surprised at how quick the food came out. We took our Uncle there and he is from out of state and has never eaten af a Hmong owned restaurant b4, and he enjoyed it. At first I was a little worried because the menu was kind of small, but everything worked out in the end. I think we ordered almost everything from the menu, and I have to say it did not disappoint. I also ordered the KZ pho, and it was delicious. I read somewhere that someone said that the food tasted just like Unison's but i'd like to say that Kitchen Zone's food is more to my liking and they are definitely not the same. I can say that the empty dishes that Kitchen Zone's team clears from our table speaks for itself. The menu maybe small, but it is definitely worth the try, sometimes having a small menu makes you perfect the dishes you specialize in anyways. No complaints about the food at all. And for you papaya lovers - the papaya was delicious. Wings came out pipping hot, crab rangoon was yummy, and had quite the fillings. Husband said that Calamari was delicious as well. One of my fav dish is the Pineapple fried rice, yeah it's simple dish, but the fried rice with shrimp was bomb, the shrimp was a pretty decent size as well. We also ordered 2 walleyes and they disappeared - both the curry and ginger scallion style. I wish I was able to take photos of all the food, but with a big group, we were too busy chatting away and catching up. Thank you so much for your team's abilities and service to handle such a big group in such a small notice.

We always go to Unison next door, but we decided to try out this one since it’s new.I honestly think that we will be coming here from now on!I love pho there. The flavor was spot on, and yes they do have sriracha sauce. We also had the walleye special which was my wife’s favorite. The curry was a little different that I am used to, but we both liked it.All three dishes we ordered were amazing. I will be trying more items from the menu for sure.I don’t have anything bad to say about this restaurant, the service was fast and friendly.I would definitely recommend it?

Both people in our party enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. We ordered the crab rangoon and egg rolls as an appetizer. Both were delicious. Our food came out and we were both impressed. I had shrimp pineapple fried rice that was served in a pineapple boat with large shrimp and big pieces of fresh pineapple. The BF got Teddy's Crack wings and he said they were perfectly cooked. I also had a coconut strawberry milk with real pieces of strawberry. It was good, no artificial flavors or overly sweet. Highly recommend!

Ordered the eggrolls, crab rangoon, nam tak, nam khao, crack wings and papaya. Best dish was the papaya, how sad and even that was just average. Egg rolls were dinky and flavorless. Crab rangoon was flavorless and tasted like something you would find from the freezer section. Nam khao was decent at best. Nam khao tasted old and was cold. Crack wings were crackless because nothing about them makes me want to order more. Service was great, fast and the waiter was polite. Highly disappointed in the food overall. The premium prices do not reflect in taste and portion at all unfortunately. Management needs to review prices and portions.
