This is officially our last experience at any of these establishments. This company has gone so down hill the last 5-6 years it’s horribly sad….. used to have the best burgers, drinks and beer selection. They don’t anymore. We continuously leave disappointed again and again. It’s FAR too expensive to walk away disappointed. This time it was the food truck. This truck is a representation of your establishment. You would assume you would hold your “truck team” accountable, but after reading others reviews, doesn’t sound like that feedback is really being considered. You charge the exact same price on a truck as you do in a high end dining establishment, which is crazy. Soggy buns, incredible lack of cheese, apparently we went on the ONE day where they didn’t have pickles or aioli on the truck, and still for 2 burgers and some HEAVILY salted fries $50. The pickles cut the richness, the aioli cuts the salt. If you aren’t going to have your usual product, for the love of god, disclose that to your guests. I almost walked away empty handed and regret not walking away. Do better guys. Come on. This burger is NOTHING like we have ever received in any of your dining establishments and it is SAD.Edit: I unfortunately had to edit this review... what used to be 5 stars 4 years ago is now at a 3 star for me. This place is incredibly over priced for what you get. The deviled eggs are tasty bites and the risotto has good flavor, but everything else unfortunately fell flat. On top of drinks taking over 10 minutes to get to us. While service was kind, it was also slow. Incredibly disappointed. Only come for the burger, and I mean that quite literally.

We were a group of four here on a Saturday night around 8:30. I tried the brussels sprouts and the Tagliatelle. The brussels sprouts were incredible and the tagliatelle was so tasty, packed with tons of lobster meat and delicious little lemons. I can't imagine anything on the menu here isn't absolutely delicious. The ambiance is perfect in here - upscale, elegant but still casual. It's on the pricier side, especially given the smaller portion sizes but the smaller portion sizes are still packed with tons of flavor.

Wow. It was my first time here and my fiancé and I had the best experience. Laura was our server and she knocked it out of the park. Her knowledge about the menu was top notch, especially considering they had just revamped their menu less than a week ago. We started out with several small plate options, per Laura’s recommendations, including the deviled egg, Waldorf salad and the arancini. UNBELIEVABLE. The deviled egg and arancini were transcendent and left us desiring several more portions of each. The Waldorf salad was light and refreshing and had a very nice texture with the endive, walnuts and crisp apples added throughout. We opted for 3 different entree options as we really wanted to sample most of the menu. My fiancé had the cavatelli, which had an amazing flavor, but I wished it had another protein option either included or for an additional cost. I got the octopus, which was one of the only menu items that has been on their menu since the restaurant opened. It was the best octopus I’ve ever had. They prepare it sus vide so it actually is quite tender comparatively. I loved it. My fiancé and I split the tagliatelle and were so full off everything else were only able to sample it and took the rest home, however the few bites we did manage were outstanding. So rich and delicious with a perfect balance of ingredients. Of course we always save room for dessert and we got the Black Forest cake with cherry compote, which was the special. Both rich and light we absolutely loved it. The perfect amount of cherry sweetness to the rich chocolate cake and light chantilly cream layers. Amazing service from Laura and the rest of the staff. We will be back and highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have an elegant night out!Parking: Street parking is available, but very limited. There is a parking garage about a block and a half away which costs $7 after 4:30pm. Valet option available for $10 on site.

The execution has consistently been good here. The menu has nice variety and is updated fairly frequently. The highlights last night were yellowtail sashimi with a sauce and surprisingly carrots in a pestoDietary restrictions: They had a lot of options for gluten-free either inherently or could adjust items

My partner made a reservation for Valentine’s Day a few weeks in advance, and I think the process was fairly simple. Some of the pros from our dinner was that we were seated quickly, and got water and a bottle of wine we both liked. The octopus was grilled and I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the affogato and our waiter was amazing!A few cons would be that valet wasn’t outside so we had to wait a few moments for him. Also our entrees took entirely too long to come out of the kitchen and the waiter never mentioned why. I just figured they got behind since it is a holiday.Other than that I love the atmosphere of this location and all the staff were dressed so beautifully in their Valentine’s Day attire. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend for a romantic candle lit dinner!

Exceptional! This is our go-to romantic restaurant in the North Loop, and they’ve hit a new stride! Fabulous food, stellar service, lovely ambiance; it’s all there. Special kudos to waitperson Jordan for charming descriptions of the food, and to General Manager Adam for warmth and welcome. Oh yes, we’ll be back!

We ordered take out and tried to call the restaurant to let them know we were here to pick up the order (per their instructions). We eventually had to go inside to pick up the food because no one was answering the phone. The food was so salty that it was completely inedible.Update: I tried to email Adam (per his response below) and have yet to hear back.

My girlfirend and I went last night 1/10/24 and had their date night special, all courses were excellent, service was great! We will certainly be returning in the future. Good idea to visit both this location and Parlour in the basement if you are making a trip to the cities for either restaurant.Parking: Parking was very easy for us on a Tuesday as a spot was open in the paid parking lot 20 feet from door, on a weekend it may be tougher as this area has more limited parking and is very busy on weekends. Likely valet would be the way to go on the weekend and visit both Borough and Parlour to get full value!

Service was phenomenal but the food was underwhelming. Brusselsprouts were so bitter and overly charred. The beef plate was such a small portion…three fingerling potatoes. The pasta was maybe 3/4 cup. The risotto was fab as well. The dessert was…. Not great, it’s almost like she is trying to copy Dianne Yang but if I wanted DY I would go eat with DY.Give me more. More food, more flavor, more consistency and good solid food and I’ll be back for more than just the drinks and parlour burger.Parking: Complimentary valet
