Please have Kosh call me. Or have the owner lady call me. I wanted to discuss stuff. I never left bad review for you guys, ex-gf that impersonated me did. My goal wasn't to risk your license.

Ate here after a show at the Cedar Riverside center. Food was wonderful. If I lived nearby I would eat here all the time.

We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in for lunch and welcomed to sit anywhere. Service was slow even though it was not at all busy but this isn’t a complaint as it gave my friends and me some moments to catch up.They have a nice, large variety on the menu so it took me a while to decide - again, not a complaint. I ordered the lamb curry and wasn’t sure if I wanted a side of rice or injera. The staff told me to order half and half and I’m glad I did. My friends ordered doro wat with injera, and the veggie combo. They only had sambusas with veggies and it was delicious. All portions were large and we each had leftovers. Perfect spot for a lunch break. There’s a paid parking lot onsite as well as paid street parking.Vegetarian options: There’s an entire page on the menu with vegetarian options. My friend who is vegetarian had great options to choose from.Kid-friendliness: The relaxed, chill atmosphere is kid-friendly.

You can smell how good it is as you walk up the block, they offer injera with 100% teff flour for those that are gluten intolerant.

Wanted to try Ethiopian in MN to see how it compares to DC. Very good, family run place. I got a mixed veggie dish that had a spicy kick. Tasty and I could tell it was freshly made.

Excellent food! Great for groups. The place had some incense burning but you will get used to it after a few minutes.

I came here once and I had a really good experience.the Food was hot and fresh and the server was consistent. However, this time was really awful. I waited for approximately an hour to get my food: the wait before the waitress took my order was the longest wait and there was barely any customers( it was only 4 tables) then the food arrived really Cold to the point I couldn’t continue eating. I had told the server and she took another good 15 minutes to come back with the SAME plate but it was very hot this time. The injera was too hot and it was getting hard to the point where you could break it off like wood LOL. (It was very crunchy and hard.) It felt like they microwaved/baked it on the same plate. SMH ??‍♀️ I came back thinking I was going to have the same experience I did before but it changed my whole perspective now.
