Went here for a live show for a local band and the sound guy Larry was a complete tool. Made the guitarist turn his amp down to a barely audible volume. Was super rude and just overall made me and folks nearby uncomfortable. I’ve never seen a band so disrespected at a venue. The bar staff was super nice, but due to the terrible vibe of Larry I would never recommend anyone book a show here or even visit this place.

Absolutely awful experience. The door man/sound guy is one of the most unprofessional obnoxious individuals that I have ever encountered. At 7PM on a Wednesday he kept being completely unreasonable with the opening band by not allowing them to start on time and yelling at them to turn down when the audience couldn’t even hear the guitar. The band was visibly upset and almost walked off stage. Food wasn’t that great either. Totally awkward and negative vibes. I do not recommend at all especially if your a band looking to book a gig. The twin cities does live music way better at any other venue in the metro. This is not a proper representation of a twin cities music venue.

My brother's band plays here every few years. They don't have a full liquor license, just wine and beer. A little better than typical bar food, good chicken tenders and very good French fries for bar food!

Nice dive bar. Music can be awesome, depending on who is playing.

The owner is great. Really makes an effort to be part of the community. Good venue for music and the food was what one would expect.

There was nobody there. I wondered why, until I spoke with who I believe was the sound guy. The biggest jerk I’ve ever met. He was so rude to my husband’s band that was playing that night, and rude to me as well. He literally kicked us all out once the time was up. They were basically shutting down the bar before close. Absolutely ridiculous — I wouldn’t suggest going here, and if you’re a band considering playing here, definitely don’t (or try to bring your own sound person).

Live music pretty much every night. I almost only go on Fridays and it can get quite busy. But it's a good time!
