THE go-to BBQ spot in Minneapolis. The value is unparalleled. Take out is always ready on time.Personal favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. I could use a little less potato and more crispiness in the fries. Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes are my favorite sides. Hard to beat the FEAST order for a small group.

I personally didn't like the mac and cheese but my sister in law did. Wasn't sure what to expect having been giving mixed reviews. Greens have too many stems and were too sweet as well. I ordered a brisket dinner. The brisket was tasty and tender. Now the $70 order we took elsewhere the brisket was tough. Didn't try the sides ordered with that. My mother in law said her rib tips were pretty good too! Gotta be honest!

I really tried to force myself to eat all my food and couldn't. I had the sweet potatoes, greens, ribs, coleslaw, and rib tips. I didn't finish any of it. I knew it wouldn't be southern cooking, but it was way different from anything I ever tasted. How do you mess up ribs? I usually don't do reviews, but this was very disappointing. We spent over $80 andeven if they just had a bad batch we will not be back.

My first time there and we got ribs brisket and most of the sides between three people. It was mother's day weekend and first nice day out. There was a ton of people there and so things were understandably slow. The girl working the front seemed unfazed and was friendly and efficient. Things in back were a bit heated I could hear. The brisket was great as were the ribs. They had a nice char and smoke. The ribs might have been a bit dry. The sides were all good. The sweet potato had a spice beside cinnamon that had us guessing but it was tasty. The potato salad and slaw were both tasty. The fries were fine but nothing special. What struck me is nothing was disappointing as is so often the case. We each had our favorites of the bunch but would probably get much the same next time. Several people were ordering rib tips and had great things to say but I am not a rib tip person unfortunately. Glad to see good take out food over North with great service that is a local place not another chain.

The sides were a little lack luster, but the sandwich itself was amazing. Would recommend getting an extra side of BBQ.

I ordered the 2 meat special, ribs and brisket. Both were tender and juicy. I also ordered a small container of mama's hot sauce. It adds an interesting dimension to the taste. I will be back again!
Is was better then I thought!! Ribs were falling off the bone. Greens were perfect. Had to make sure they didn't have my mother back in the kitchen cooking. Will definitely be going back.

This was the worst bbq I have ever had! The tiny smoked chicken wings were so over smoked they were inedible. The skin was very hard on the outside and the meat was extra dry on the inside. The rib tips were over smoked on the outside and hard and full of fat on the inside. The macaroni taste and texture appeared to come from a box with some shredded cheese tossed on top and baked. I will admit that the greens had good flavor, but the leaves should have been correctly cut into bite size pieces not half of the leaf. Also the portion of greens was very small especially compared to the price that they charge for them. Overall it was a waste of $91, I would never eat food from there again even if someone else was paying for it. I regret that I didn't take a picture of it in the garbage can. The staff were very nice though but why wouldn't they be considering that they are selling inadequate culture food to the community at an exorbitant price. Date of purchase Friday March 18, 2022.

I was pleasantly happy with the food, service, and value. There wasn't any seating for dine in, but they have the space and furniture. Hopefully it's a future option. Anyway, our takeout order was ready in about 10mins and was enough for 3 servings. We got a 1/2 order of wings, and the 2 meat combo with the mac n cheese being upgraded to size large. Side note... we ordered in person, not sure if there's a way to upgrade during online ordering. The smoked wings were okay, but didn't have enough flavor for me. It was nice to try, but I probably wouldn't order them again. The ribs and beef brisket were good and flavorful. Neither had bbq sauce on them, but instead on the side (in small containers).
