I got reply from the owner and they talked about history and saying I am creating division kind of nonsense. Let me explain their tantrums now! Well, they talked about history and trying to tell that once upon a time Whole South Asia was under Lord Rama, doesn't mean everyone from south will start claiming Golden Lanka's Gold. My point was not division or anything but hijacking the brand name. It's like selling Adidas look like sneakers named as Abidas. The fact is that even if three nations were together, and if so then why can't you write the great Bangladeshi Restaurant or Srilanka Restaurant, the fact is that you are trying to steal india name to just sell garbage. For that matter you can get any 2 guys from any part of India and pay them as a partner. The whole idea was that when you eat food it doesn't represent india at all. Your food's smell, cooking style and taste is like Bangladeshi food. That's why I used Bangladeshi restaurant. What if someone makes silk in china and sell on the name of Bangladesh which this nation makes really good. Wouldn't Bangladeshi people criticize that? Yes they will and should. So don't try to tag me as a divider just for your nonsense bad quality bad tase and smell food ever again. You get it?My Review was a below:First things first. This is not an Indian restaurant; they just named it to give the impression of being Indian. Secondly, the stench in the curtains is a reason I will never go to such a restaurant. The food was cooked in some low-quality oil that tasted terrible; nowhere in India do people cook with such inferior oil.Perhaps some people like this place and think it represents Indian culture, but it is nowhere near what authentic Indian restaurants are or the food they make. This is one of the worst establishments with low-grade, low-quality food and the most awkward, bogus interior I have ever visited. The owners seem to be Bangladeshi, and, just like in New York, these Bangladeshis are using Indian names to sell and run restaurants, which is illegal and unethical. They must shut down this garbage and stop ruining the cultural heritage and quality of Indian food. The Indian culture is not what this restaurant is presenting. The last time the curtains were likely washed would be 10 years ago. These curtains have oil-absorbed dirt, and it's a dust-filled place. Any Indian who knows how poorly maintained and unauthentic this Bangladeshi-run restaurant is, cashing in on the name of India and tarnishing its reputation, would never go back there—except, perhaps, some Bengalis from India.

We always get takeout and there are a variety of fun specials during the week to encourage return trips. Prices are sneaking up a little bit as long as they don’t get too expensive I will eat here frequently. Never dined in, doesn’t seem super well suited for it.

I relatively recently moved to the area, I am from a small town with very little food diversity/choices. I decided to give something new a try. LET ME TELL YOU. I had an out of body experience. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and a samosa with green chutney. It was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had in my life. My pants button was bursting at the seam and I couldn’t stop eating. I am a changed woman.

I have issues with them charging me, so called fair wage charge.you can’t steal from me and tip yourself by force. It should be up to me. To pay outside of food prices and state tax. That’s stealing ??‍♂️

I loved Gandhi Mahal when it was at its original location before the riots. Then three years went by and I came back to town and tried it at its new location in Seward. It’s now called Curry in a Hurry. I was very disappointed. Instead of serving the rice separately like they did before, they put everything in one bowl. The chicken tikka masala was dry, and there was so much rice that it overpowered the entire bowl. I will not be back.

The service was great, the young gentleman taking our order was very knowledgeable, the food was very good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The old location had an amazing aquaponics system in the basement. While this location isn't as big and doesn't have an entire fish pond inside, it still serves up absolutely wonderful food.

The food is okay but what brings out the place is the Ambience that they have maintained.

Great food, colorful interior, good prices, right off West River Parkway, Gandhi Mahal will become a regular stop for me.

I never loved a small business this much! I been coming to this location ever since 2020. Sajida is an all time rock star. She will try her hardest to remember regulars! If you are like me who always order the same thing over and over again she will eventually pick up that phone and guess your order! It's amazing how special it feels. Walk in there all the time and she is there welcoming with big arms ( metaphorically ). She is there all the time! Hope she gets days off! Love this place, will always have my support. You can see how the whole family works there! Bless them all!

Wonderful customer service ? I stopped in for lunch a little after noon. While looking through the menu I noticed that the chicken Biryani wasn't available until 3pm ? The fantastic lady that took my order said they could definitely make it for me but it would just take a few minutes longer than normal since it hadn't been prepared yet. The Biryani took less than 15 minutes and was fantastic. Will definitely be a frequent stop for lunch.

Did a large order for a birthday and everything was wonderful! They forgot part of our order and immediately made it right when notified. Customer service was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. The dal was an unexpected hit; most places it’s very one note but this was dynamic and flavorful. This will be our go to Indian food from now on.

It was a good experience. Food was good. The indoor seating was good too. I thought the location was a little odd but overall good experience.
