Really great spot in the neighborhood. Vegan/vegetarian options well prepared. I had the black bean/sweet potato arepa as did my wife. Service was fine and the atmosphere was great. Several plants hanging, indoor and outdoor seating. Also reasonably priced. Will be going back!!

Fantastic, wonderful and delicious.Vegetarian options: The jackfruit arepa is amazing!Dietary restrictions: Very good gluten free menu.Parking: Parking is the ONLY issue. They have a very tiny Parking lot in front of the restaurant, lots of street parking.

Will always be one of my favorite brunch spots. The chicken cachapas are incredible. I don't think I've ordered anything else on the menu because these are the star of the show as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommend!

Great food and excellent cocktails. My favorites are the arepas, anything with chimichurri or sweet potato as part of the mix.

The atmosphere was fun, but it was hard to hear the other members in my party of 6.Parking: They lot is small. Street parking is available, but you have to hunt a bit and navigate one-way streets.

This was THE PLACE to be yesterday with this gorgeous sunny weather. I have officially found my new favorite patio here at Hola Arepa! Not only was the patio space perfect for sitting in the sun, the food was also spectacular. Service was good, drinks were kept full and we were checked on often. The group I came with also brought their dog with too when we found out the patio was pup friendly. Our server even brought over some water for the dog too. We did have to wait about 20 minutes to be seated and the parking situation is a bit tricky here, but all worth it for some fantastic food and drinks. Hola Arepa offers happy hour on Sundays from 4-close so we lucked out with that too! Drinks & Apps are included in the special, who doesn't love a good deal on some great food? What We Ordered: Chips & 3 Salsas (plus an additional to try them all for 50 cents more!) all of the salsas were flavorful and each one different but not too spicy. My favorite was the Hola, mild and sweet. Nachos Divorciados with Beef- lots of yummy layers of flavor, including some of the best candied jalepeños I've ever tried. Pao de Queijo- Brazilian cheesy bread bites with a delicious garlic & herb butter (a big hit with my son!) Kids Arepa with guacamole- so crispy on the outside but fluffy and filled with fresh guacamole, served with two big yuca fries I am honestly already planning our next trip back here over the summer. The vibes are immaculate and the food is superb.

Everytime I come to Minneapolis this is a must do. Their salsa trio is so unique in its flavors and I really love the cuban. Service is always great here too.Vegetarian options: jackfruit arepa option, salads, salsas, appetizers, and lots of other optionsDietary restrictions: There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. They’re very accommodating here and are very good at avoiding cross contamination. My step mom has severe celiac and this is always a safe place for her to eat.

Hola Arepa used to have a really good happy hour. Do not be fooled by the happy hour menu on their website. It is no longer valid. Now your choices are beef, beef, or beef for happy hour. Kind of a big f you to Hindus everywhere. They are not interested in any substitutions. Nor would they honor the menu they published on their website. Overall their food is decent but overpriced as are the drinks. This used to be our go to spot for happy hour but no longer.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options. Generally their vegetarian options are have meat or remove the meat and pay the same price. Clearly dietary needs are not a big priority for them.

Decided to get out of the typical business dinner meetings by scheduling at Hola Arepa. The staff was ready for our party of 16 with fast drink service and appetizers for the table. Everyone enjoyed the break from standard offerings and the variety of the menu. Highly recommend making the trip
