This is in a mini strip with plenty of parking space. Stopped in for a quick lunch date with a friend and kids around noonish, maybe 1pm. I'll just say, we did absolutely no research before coming. Their lunch hour is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Upon arrival we were informed the last time to order is 2:15. Service was great, making sure we get in as much as we could for AYCE. Ordered a little bit of everything. The kids really enjoyed the hibachi dishes that includes fried rice or noodles and choice of protein. The yum yum sauce that comes with was light with hint of yogurt (might be wrong in this ingredient since I didn't asked). If you love Takoyaki, these are probably one of the best ones I've had. I also really enjoy the Cha Soba, it's a chilled green tea noodle with sauce and green onions. First timer embarrassing story* about the Cha Soba. It came out in a soba bamboo tray and having no knowledge of this dish - I shamelessly poured the sauce over the soba, thinking there was a bottom . Anywho, love the soba and our waiter was extremely kind to help clean the mess I created. So, dip the soba in the sauce, don't pour, ok? Also had the crunch roll, fire island roll and spicy girl roll. My favorite was the spicy girl roll, it's a spicy tuna and yellowtail mixed. Literally, it melts with every bite. I forgot to take photos but will definitely get some in when I crave sushi again. Currently my favorite ACYE sushi.

food was fantastic, and the sashimi slices were very flavorful, with thick slices and wonderful texture. The menu provided a multitude of delicious and rather unique dishes. Definitely try the tuna pringles! it was a flavor bomb in my mouth!! However there is something about this place that made me not want to come back, and that was our waiter. I came to this restaurant with a party of two and we hadn't eaten all day to prepare to "get our moneys worth!", so of course we were famished. Unfortunately our waiter was cold, and flat out denied our pretty big order of sashimi, specialty rolls, and drinks. while we still had two more rolls to add to our order the waiter commented on how we wouldn't be able to finish it and feeling so embarrassed and ashamed we let him take our unfinished order. consequently we continued to finish the unfinished order along with two more orders of food than we had originally planned. the waiter the entire trip gave us rude comments and attitude and it felt so unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The person i had come to this establishment with suffers with anorexia, and it caused quite a stir in their mind and i did my best to help them with their thoughts. This horrendous feeling and environment could've been avoided if the waiter could've simply taken our order no questions asked and treated us with care. Instead we felt wildly uncomfortable and especially ashamed for eating so much when the entire point of the restaurant is to eat as much as you can. if i come back and am sat at this waiters table i will leave the establishment, because words cannot fathom the lack of care and disrespect we were shown. We were furthermore on the younger side and it seems as if we were not taken seriously and not given the same care. take our godamn order and stop judging us when that's not your job!

Quick service & yummy food! It gets busy so I recommend coming right when it opens. The only things I didn’t really enjoyed was the ice cream & some of the fried appetizers.

This is a good place. I haven't tried much of the food, but it's better than competing restaurants. It was a little cold as I sat in front of the door area.

Went here for a friend’s birthday dinner. Food was great and quick even with how busy it was. Service was phenomenal, from the time we walked in to the time we left every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful.Highly recommend!

Nestled in the heart of the shopping mall, Ichiban Sushi offers an experience that’s nothing short of extraordinary.Parking is a breeze with ample spaces available, making it hassle-free to enjoy a delightful meal. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a stunning interior that exudes modernity and style. The moderate noise levels ensure conversations flow effortlessly without overwhelming background chatter. The service here is simply top-notch. Not only is it fast, but the staff is also incredibly attentive, catering to your every need with a smile.Ichiban offers an all-you-can-eat buffet at a reasonable $45, but don’t be fooled by the price – the menu here is more sophisticated than similar concepts elsewhere. The taste and presentation of the dishes rival those of high-end sushi restaurants, making each bite a true delight for the senses. With prices that won’t break the bank, you can enjoy a refreshing beverage to complement your meal without any guilt.

Definitely a high end all you can eat sushi. The menu is grand with so many options and items I’ve never tried before at a sushi restaurant. Definitely come with an empty stomach! It’s a modern place with fast service. It’s $50 per person which is on the higher side, but the quality and amount can make it worth it. It’s best to go with a big group so you can try a little of everything on the menu. There really is so much to choose from! They did run out of the shaved iced dessert near the end of the night. Overall great experience!

Great atmosphere, parking can vary cause it’s sharing with the pancake house. Food tastes authentic and is really good. 4 star because sushi roll doesn’t state if it’s raw or cooked fish. We wanted raw fish! Also the inside of the most sushi roll has this artificial spicy tuna paste (not real tuna) so that was a bummer. Overall, would come back but will just order sashimi and everything else ?

My recent visit to Ichiban Sushi left me with mixed feelings. Excited by the promise of allergy accommodations touted on their menu, I was ultimately disappointed by the reality. While our server was friendly, their knowledge of gluten-free options seemed limited. Shockingly, I was informed that even the sushi rice contained gluten, severely restricting my choices. It begged the question: why the allergy disclaimer on the menu if they couldn't deliver?Despite the setback, the restaurant's atmosphere was inviting, and service was pleasant overall. However, without proper staff training and a more robust gluten-free menu, Ichiban Sushi falls short for those with dietary restrictions like myself. In essence, while Ichiban Sushi has the potential to cater to a wider audience, they need to step up their game in terms of allergy awareness and menu offerings. Until then, I'd hesitate to recommend it to fellow gluten-sensitive diners.

I enjoyed the variety of items this restaurant has, as many cannot be found on all you can eat menus in MN. You can definitely tell what food has been made freshly and what food has been sitting for awhile, waiting for someone to order it. Sushi roll quality is average. Tried the Cha Soba which did not have much flavor. The sashimi here is thick cut and good quality. Takoyaki had little squid in it, not unusual for MN. Chicken Katsu was bland. Kiss of Fire was cold and dried out by the time it got to us. I did really enjoy the matcha shaved ice.Would be interested in going back at a lunch price and see if food is all consistently fresh.

Went for the lunch all you can eat menu during the week. We sat at the bar so we did not have to wait for seating at all. Others were waiting at the front of the restaurant waiting for either a table or booth. After being seated the waitress was quick to greet us and take our drink order and asked for the three items we wanted to start with. The apps/soup came out pretty quick but the sushi took pretty long. The waitress did apologize for the long delay for the sushi as we went through multiple apps prior to getting our main food. The food was all okay but nothing that really stood out were I would want to return again. Would not recommend if you only have a shorter amount of time to eat.
