An inspirational culinary experience. The wait staff was so nice to us even though our group showed up within an hour of close, memorized our entire order without needing to write it down and then got everything perfectly, and the food was unbelievable. Definitely recommend for if you ever need some pre- band practice fuel in the Uptown area.

Ordered through Uber eats as we are from out of town, and were blown away by the food - it was amazing!! Everything was amazing, great value for the quality as well. I called to ask a couple of questions and the gentleman who answered the phone could not have been kinder and willing to help! Definitely will be ordering again when we come to Minneapolis and will be recommending this place to all our friends

Went here on a whim, and it did not disappoint! Everything tasted amazing. All the food had such great flavor, and it was filling as well.The staff was great... friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
Delicious food!! This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant anywhere! Love the Palak Paneer, Mushroom Masala, Vegetable Biryani, Peshawari Naan, Paneer Naan and more! Highly recommend that you give this place a try and that you try various dishes too! Can’t wait to come back here!Vegetarian options: Excellent place for vegetarian meal options!! Love that they have a dinner for two vegetarian option as well!Parking: Honestly, even if the lot appears full, you can try to pull into the lot and stay there for a minute or two and someone who was just picking up a to-go order or who is leaving one of the other businesses may be leaving that fast. The last time I came here with a relative, we pulled in and within two minutes it went from full to five empty spots. This is a very walkable area too though, so if you want to park nearby or a block or two away you’ll be fine to park and walk over too.

India Palace Uptown truly exceeded our expectations on our recent dinner visit. The spacious seating arrangement and the convenience of a private parking lot already set the tone for a great experience. The service was swift and attentive, ensuring we were well-taken care of throughout our meal. My wife and I shared the butter chicken, samosas, and a delightfully creamy mango lassi — each dish was rich in flavor and generously portioned. The atmosphere lends itself perfectly to family-style dining and sharing. Given the quality, the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend India Palace Uptown for anyone seeking a warm, flavorful, and hearty meal, especially on a chilly day. We'll definitely be returning!
Needs to update information. Their website still lists a lunchtime buffet. Also, the Uptown quarterly continues to list a coupon for $1 off the lunch buffet. The problem is that they discontinued their buffet in 2020 due to Covid. I got a nice response to my email inquiry trying to confirm what services they offer for lunch, but it is frustrating that their info is so outdated on their website, Yelp, etc.

The food was not good and not as described. Chicken Tikka should not look like chicken curry. The Samosas and Pakoras did not taste like how it's suppose to. It's Americanized. I would not go here.
