Updated:The first time I went here, I left a 5/5 review. The poke was great, service was great, and the restaurant was too.The second time, 11/2/23, my salmon poke bowl was inedible. I don’t know if the day of the week matters, but the salmon was stringy with a grainy texture and sour taste. I sadly ended up throwing the whole thing away.I gave it a 2/5 star rating rather than a 1 because the first time was great, but due to food quality and consistency I can’t highly recommend this restaurant anymore.

JJ's is the most affordable, has the freshest ingredients, and is the absolute best ! After ordering, the service is super quick and efficient. They have cute little tables and little high tops to write your order on.

We tried to use our own container for sustainability but their staff was very confused by our ask. I was supervised too, because they use their spoon/scope to measure everything and it shouldn’t be that difficult. Anyway, the food itself is not impressive tho, they added too much sauce and made the whole poke too creamy and lost the poke freshness. The ingredients, especially the sashimi, was very little, and make the whole poke price not practical. Not recommend to visit.

This place was very good. It was good for people that are bad at ordering food because you didn’t have to talk to anyone you just fill out a little sheet. I also really liked their take out bags. It tasted good.

JJ's is the best. You can get a load of fish for a decent price, and other options too if you dont like fish. I get a teriyaki chicken bowl which is great and the steamed chicken buns are the best I've had! They always make the order accurately and are friendly and accomodating!

Not exactly sure what the hype is, we were not impressed. We ordered for lunch, through Door Dash, and all 6 of us felt we should have ordered from somewhere else. Our normal place was closed so we figured we'd try something new and after seeing the ratings, touting JJ's over Hawaii Poke Bowl - we thought it'd be worth the try.Nope, not for us. We'll be sticking to our normal places and Hawaii Poke Bowl.

It wasn’t horrible but I probably wouldn’t order again due to this. I would more than likely want to eat in house if trying again.

This was my first time there and it won't be my last!So many choices to create a delicious Poké bowl with all my faves!The staff was so nice and service was exceptionally fast!The food was gorgeous in its presentation and best of all, it tasted amazing!I also love the adorable yellow reusable bag they put my takeaway in. So cool!!!Looking forward to my return trip. Totally recommend!
Unexpected joy - both JJ’s and the neighboring Banh Appetit are SO GOOD.Poke, ramen, and a tasty cha shu/char siu bun (so hard to find up here!)Ingredients tasted clean and fresh, and it was exactly what I wanted. At first I was confusing it with another on-campus poke place which is not nearly as good…glad I followed the map here!!
