First go around and had the roast duck and eggplant dish (not sure where it is on the menu but we saw photos in reviews!). Great quality, great flavor, and reasonable considering inflation has made going out in the twin cities very unaffordable! It was hot even after takeout and a 10-15 min drive home. Will definitely be back!

Great food for the price.... until they got rid of the $7.50 lunch special. It's now $10.50 and thats just too much for the quality of the food. The price is what set them apart from the other chinese restaurants around. Im going to spend a bit more and go to either Tea house or Legendary Spice nearby next time.

Always ready fast and fresh. Kung Pao chicken is a great go-to option. Only wish is for more more tofu options.

Great chicken wings! A bit of green onions in the batter. So good even the bits in the bottom are worth getting! Enjoy

Their food is trash!!!Ordered chicken fried rice, there was no chicken, egg or vegetables. Just rice and pieces of not sure tofu or spam chicken that tasted like garbage. I called, they said "oh we don't use real chicken, next time tell us you want real chicken. Like what?! The menu says "CHICKEN fried rice" how am I supposed to know?! And she was like "Idk what we can do for you."

I'm appalled this place has anymore than a single star, after eating the 40 percent edible "food" is going to set my diet back by a week! I would strongly recommend this restaurant to my passive-aggressive enemy, in hopes they poison him/her enough. Eating this food was a sad mistake for my stomach, my pocket book and I don't even live close enough to justify it. Save your money, there's a Burger King next door.

I ordered through Yelp for delivery and 2 hours later the restaurant calls me and says that I forgot to pick up my order. I guess I'm pretty confused. No food and out $25.

My undergrad STAPLE!! As of 8/30/2021, they are not doing indoor dining. But please come for takeaway and they also ask that you wear your mask during pickup! This place is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant on campus. Affordable, delicious, and the owners are so nice. During undergrad, I literally went here once a week for the lunch specials which was under $10 and you get white/fried rice, entree, and choice of egg rolls or cream cheese wontons. Their restaurant and menu is a smaller than the other Chinese restaurants near there, but I think they excel at the items that they do have! My go-to items here are the eggplant chicken, peking spare ribs, stir fried veggie dish, and the beef hot pot. The eggplant chicken is not on the normal menu and is written on the dry erase board. This item is honestly the reason why I can even look at eggplants. I literally ate everything but eggplant, until I was forced to eat this once and now I get it every time I come here. The eggplant is stir fried so perfectly where the color is so vibrant and it's not mushy but also not raw. They take it off the fire at the PERFECT time. The sauce they stir fried the eggplant and chicken is a little sweet and sour similar to a plum sauce. Peking spare ribs are incredible when you eat in-house because it is so crispy, but the flavor is so good even if it's soaking in the condensation. They are strips of pork ribs meat (no bones) battered and fried and then tossed in a delicious vinegar-y soy sauce. Sooo good and soo fragrant! Beef stew hot pot is NOT the typical style hot pot you think of with a big thing of soup and you dip your meats in, it is a clay pot with some greens and tender beef cubes.

Solid eggplant and tofu dish with plenty of rice. We order two servings as it's always our favorite. There was a quick turnaround for last minute pickup too

Kowloon is a great place for Cantonese/Hong Kong style Chinese food. Most people don't know about the regional styles of Chinese food but there are quite a few and each one is unique. My family is recently transplanted from Hawaii and most of the Chinese restaurants there are Cantonese style. This means Kowloon is 100% our spot. We tried several dishes from different sections of the menu. They offer plenty of the standard American style dishes but where they really shine is in the "special" section of the menu. Highly recommend trying those dishes especially. Also, strongly recommend any of the "pan fried noodles". In Hawaii one of the most popular things you'll find is "cake noodle" and Kowloon offers the original Hong Kong version of the same dish as pan fried noodles. This dish might not be for everyone but we and (basically all) the people of Hawaii love it. Pour the gravy and toppings on the noodles and go for it.

Favorite Chinese joint of all time hands down. Fast fresh attentive accommodating. Been going here for years and is in top ten of twin cities food.

Yummy, fairly authentic Chinese food! Definitely more of a take out then an eat in vibe!
