Oh hell nah. I used to love this place when the other person was working the truck. Tacos were excellent back then. Also, they gave me a service charge of 12% for what? I have never been charged a service charge like this. Never coming back here.

After hearing that Birria Ramen is the new it food, I had to try some for myself. La Bodega Taco Bar is on Minnetonka Blvd and Texas Ave. The restaurant only has a couple of available seats so it is the perfect pick up spot. The kiosks are easy to use and the food was prepared quickly. The chips were freshly made and the greasy bag proved it but they were tasty. The queso was a good consistency but could have had a little more flavor or spice! The Birria Ramen was a large bowl that would last me at least 2 servings. The meat was juicy and flavorful. It was perfectly cooked and tasted great with the onion, cilantro, and limes. The ramen noodles were not my favorite and I ended up eating the meat out if the bowl. The consume was on the thicker side and could definitely be thinned out to make this dish easier to eat and more similar to ramen or a soup.

The Birra Street Tacos and the Carnitas Street Tacos were to die for! We can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu.

The birria ramen is in a class by itself. I dined at the Uptown location and the food was excellent and the service was great. Even with a language barrier we worked it out! Good service is at an all-time low so it was refreshing to be treated w such kindness and consideration. Thanks and we'll be back!

Sketchy place, doesn’t even say anywhere that it’s a food truck. I made a small mistake on my order they were unwilling to make a change. Impossible to get a hold of, had to go to the food truck but they did not speak English.

Hands down best tacos in town, as authentic as can be(for U.S. standards). There is no need to go to Tijuana if you have a birria this good. A little pricey, tho.

Food was amazing!!! You get so much meat for the price ($13). Parking wasn't too bad. There's a small free parking lot. There's not as many seats here though. It's all counter space for seats. I didn't mind it. It was cozy and chill. Definitely will be back.
