I'm writing this as I think it's important that Manny knows what happened yesterday as there was something mishandled food service and health wise. I bought a sandwich around 12:30pm for lunch, went straight home (about 15 min away) to eat it - fast forward to about 4:45pm and I'm starting to feel very nauseous. Tried to work through it with some Pepto and rest, but by 6pm I had full on food poisoning - the absolute worst of my life - raged until about 2am when I was finally able to get some rest, but still could not keep any liquids down to hydrate until about 30 min ago. I'll spare you gory details. Yes the sandwich tastes good initially but honestly I dont think I can even think about Mexican food for several months, which I love. I just got married in Mexico in February! I am not a person with a sensitive stomach. My now husband who I've been with for 7 years said this is the first time he's seen me throw up. I can't imagine I'm the only person this happened to yesterday. Please be careful with your ingredients as I was so excited to try your food and...the details following are horrific ?

Horrible customer service gave me 2 tiny pieces of steak In my tacos and there 3 for 12 if I’m paying $4 a taco I expect to get meat and not all veggies right? Nah he said that is his portions that is not

Great, delicious Mexican food for a reasonable price. I tried the chorizo molletes, which is 2 half open sandwiches. It's not my favorite sandwich, but it's still pretty good. I recommend you give this a try if you like Chorizo. For the drink, I tried tamarindo which was refreshing and sweet.

I was told to visit here by a local and it did not disappoint. I will admit that I have pretty high expectations for tortas as I grew up near Little Village (Chicago) and like traditional tortas. These were tasty for sure but notably were tailored to more Midwestern taste ( i.e3 Little Pigs)- which isn't necessarily a bad thing as that's how restaurants stay in business. Bread was good (which is key), portion was on the smaller side ( if sharing or a big appetite) and prices were reasonable. I would recommend and would return.

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW AND GO GET MANNY'S MOLLETES. Look, I don't care if you're weaving through rush hour traffic trying to make the birth of your first child, make the detour and get the molletes, your partner will absolutely forgive you as they cram these in their face. Good heavens, the molletes are out of this world, beyond stellar. The tamarindo drink is also the most amazing, brilliant, wonderfully refreshing drink for a hot summer's day. Sweet and tart and icy cold, you really can't go wrong with *anything* at Manny's Tortas.

We had delivery from here. And yeah, Manny's makes some good tortas. But if we're being honest- between the Cuban, the Manny's special, and the egg/sausage tortas- they all kinda tasted the same. Very one-note... Just got on our nerves afterwhile. I get the hype- but maybe next time we should just have the one sando. Save ourselves from paying for all three.
