I experienced a delay due to a snowstorm and had to find accommodations nearby for the night. All employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. An employee at the Information desk at the baggage claim level was especially helpful. She provided a list of local hotels, offered to give me a phone to call, and even walked with me to show me where I can go to meet the hotel shuttle. She ensured I got on the right one, as there are a lot of Hilton properties nearby. This airport has a well organized layout and was easy to walk through, even with their current construction.

Being from Chicago, I'm accustomed to bustling, packed airports. However, MSP airport offered a refreshing change of pace. It was uncrowded, and navigating through was swift and straightforward. That said, I hoped for friendlier interactions with security staff. The atmosphere there felt quite impersonal, with little warmth or smiles as they interacted with travelers. On the bright side, the bathrooms were well-maintained, and there were plenty of spots to charge your phone.

Unironically a good airport with better connections to the city compared to other Midwest cities like Columbus or Indianapolis and less hectic than O'Hare or LAX. I kinda have a home bias, but this is a really nice American airport. Security is very fast, I never have to take more than 15 minutes to ever go through this airport, and being connected directly to Metro Transit Light Rail means you can get to Mall of America on transfer or downtown very easily. I like how convenient it all is. Food options are better than at Columbus and more local options than Indianapolis, while still having the classics for quick bites or standard airport food, but in my opinion it's better. Overall, love this airport. 5/5

easy to check in and things looked clean. I was disappointed that the food places were closed by the time we got off our flight. One place in each terminal should be open for later flights. also we had started boarding and a man came yelling down the hall that we needed to stop boarding as there was an internation flight that needed to deplane. I get that but he had a walkie, could he have used that and not scared people half to death by running and yelling don't board, don't board...

It's cold out there most of the time, bring a jacket or hoodie. Went on a recent Vacation and the entire airport process was super quick to get through this time, which was soooo refreshing. Baggage check, security, breakfast near our gate, and the walk to the gate was a walk in the park. International process was a breeze on the way back, have your paperwork and identification ready and you'll be on your way home in no time! There are no smoking lounges in most airports these days, and this one follows that trend.

This airport is easy to navigate, even for first timers. There are lots of shopping and dining g choices for those with a long lay over, or who end up arriving too early because they're not used to rental car return and security to go so fast. Everywhere I went, I was met with cheerful staff and clean facilities. I had a rental car and the best part is that you don't have to go out and catch a bus to a rental lot in the boonies. You get to the rental counter and to the cars right at the terminal. Returning the car was super easy too, which I should have anticipated but silly me I still came to the airport early to be prepared for the usual hell. Alas! No hassle, friendly garage attendants and in and out within minutes of arrival. Note: when I picked up my rental, the employee asked if I would allow him to provide me with a complimentary upgrade. He said they were expecting snow and thought I'd be more comfortable in a sturdier car than what my company paid for. How amazing is that?!?

A bright and huge airport that seems spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed the moving walkways that seemed to span miles of airport as we made our way to the farthest set of gates. Employees and staff, at security and the gate were friendly and helpful. Even the first snow of the winter didn't stop us from coming in, or getting out.

For the most part it is pretty easy getting around at this airport. The signs are clear. My father in law has an eye disability and has issues seeing. We were able to get him to MN from his flight. We were able to get him on his flight back home to the Philippines without any issues. Airport staff is nice and helpful except for the security guys at drop off and pick up. They treat you like crap and are constantly yelling at you. It makes pick up and drop off really flustered, since it is already small and crowded and then you have power tripping guards yelling at you to move when you're still loading your luggage, yelling at you to pull out when you can't because your blocked in, etc. there needs to be a better system. Edit: The Delta Guys are just awesome!

Cleanliness: 5 Variety of shops: 5 Variety of restaurants: 5 TSA: 5 Check in: 5 Baggage claim: 5 We flown into the MSP international Airport last weekend, so we visit the surrounding attractions. The airport is a very large and provides flights to domestic and international destinations. Everything from the ticketing, check in, TSA, and Baggage claim was very easy and stree free. This airport has plenty of options when it comes to shopping and restaurants. I'm sure that we will fly through the MSP airport in the near future.

Zero star experience with Delta Air Lines. Flight was delayed 5 hours. Missed two hours of our recording studio time and running on no sleep. Had to check bags cause we were bumped from comfort plus. Need recommendations for better options. Have been a loyal customer my whole life.

The airport is very large and therefore has a lot of good options for food and beverage. Overall staff is friendly and airport is well laid out despite it being huge. However once we boarded our plane our pilot got on the intercom and said that the cart used to push our plane back broke down. We then waited over an hour for MSP To supply a new cart to push us back. We were all watching out the window and sure enough a new cart pulled in and pushed us back. Ridiculous lack of organization on the airports part. I feel bad for our flight crew who you could tell was frustrated however could not do anything about it.

I was surprised by how big this airport is. It was well laid out with lots of signs to make it easy for you to figure out where you were going. We rented a car and you have to take a tram over to that section.

Great airport with very clean restrooms in terminal gates F. We landed here on the way home to San Diego for a layover. It was very refreshing to see that they embrace the "Mall of America" concept here. There are MANY SHOPS, FOOD COURTS, and it is super spacious at this airport. The staff is very customer service oriented. The Sushi food court business did not get any play while we were there, but Shake Shack and Firehouse Subs were on fire with business. The Delta Sky Club here is SUPER large and you should definitely try to visit this one. We only had about 20-30mins before boarding our next flight, after using the restrooms, so it was not enough time to visit and enjoy this Sky Club. Overall, this airport terminal experience was better than San Diego, Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, and Philadelphia for me.

Flights on time and organized today. Overall, it is a very impressive and clean airport. The only thing I wish is that the food options had ours that started when the first flights began to arrive so that when you fly in for an early connecting flight, you have an option to get breakfast.
