Incredible six cheese, macaroni and cheese, and the best gooey butter cake I've ever had . Anything I have ordered has been awesome and portions are more than generous at a very good price. Highly recommend! We've eaten there twice in two weeks!

We had just landed at the airport and I was starving, so I did a quick Yelp search. I thought this place looked interesting, so we hopped in the rental and headed over. We were not disappointed. I would recommend their specialty, mac n cheese. I ordered mine with pulled pork and jalapeños and it was super yummy. We also had the fries, which were good, but a little salty, brussell sprouts and a brisket sandwich. The food was great, and service was fast and friendly.
With a name like RA MacSammy's Elbow Room obviously the main attraction should be the mac and cheese offerings, right? Well, I can't really speak to those, because it's usually the more Southern-ish meat and three (or less) offerings that keep my coming here. Mac and cheese is certainly a focal point, but the menu is also rounded out by a number of sandwiches and entrees paired with sides (a la meat and three). I'm not going to pretend they're slinging the best ribs or brisket in town, but they offer wholesome and tasty meals for a reasonable price. There's a number of good side options, vegetarian-friendly options and rotating specials that should provide enough variety for everyone. There are a few spots for dining in, but the Elbow Room ain't big, so it's more geared toward takeout.

Cozy, rustic space. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. I had the brisket sandwich with mac & cheese and okra for sides. Everything was delicious, the okra and mac & cheese are exactly what I grew up eating in rural Texas. The sandwich was fantastic.

This place isn't bad - it's just not as good as the other reviews make it out too be. The pros: The food is good, not great. It's wholesome and fresh and made to order so it takes a bit of extra time to get your order. The Mac & Cheese is good. The best things about this restaurant is that the price is very reasonable and the employees were very nice. The cons: It's a teeny - tiny place, seating about 18 people at full capacity. It's noisy, especially with some kids inside and considering that their specialty is macaroni and cheese, there are likely young children most of the time. Also, if you have hypertension as I do, skip this place. Salt is in high supply. Sorry to knock it. If you have young children, go.
