Great summer spot! The food is amazing, the staff is great at knowing their food selections to give recommendations, and the location is beautiful!! Definitely a favorite spot to visit. Mahi Mahi Tacos hare delicious.

Came across this place after looking at Minneapolis and I have to say it was absolutely worth the trip! Note that it's mostly outside so it's closed for winter. I like how within walking distance to Minnehaha falls, you get a beautiful pavilion serving food and drinks for your bike and walking needs. There are bike rentals and other rental stuff nearby if you want to do group pedaling or those carts that zoom around when you pedal, Idr the name of those things but those are there. So the food: The seafood options and beer choices are great. I had the fried fish sandwich and calamari. Both were crispy and delicious. The wait wasn't too bad at 3pm and it says that the service charge goes into paying the workers a fair wage which is a plus. There's plenty of seating and still busy but I can imagine it even busier at like 1pm. Overall, a must visit for anyone visiting Minneapolis and especially so if you like biking!

I love spending time at Sea Salt Eatery! It has a large outdoor dining area close to Minnehaha Falls. There is also some indoor seating and some seating in the pavilion, but I personally love dining outside. You place food orders at the counter and food is brought to you. Food wise, I have several favorite items here including, the calamari tacos, the shrimp basket, red beans and rice, the curry diva (special), and the bbq shrimp (special). Po boys are also well received! Everything I've had to eat/drink has been great, so it seems that there are no wrong choices! They offer wide variety of local beer and other beverages. Ice cream is also served. There are separate lines for ice cream and beverages if you aren't planning on placing a food order at the same time. The food line is typically longer than these lines. The outdoor spaces are dog friendly. They also use compostable and reusable products, which is always nice! You can park at a meter or find street parking nearby. There are handicap spots in-front of the building. It's also important to note that they are open seasonally (April-October), so it could be wise to check their opening and closing dates prior if you are planning to go in April or October.

Recently had Swordfish tacos that were on special and they were great as well. A friend had the calamari tacos (her go-to order) which looked fantastic. Sited outside in a park next to a waterfall with frequent free live music nearby, you can't beat the setting. Only complaint is that the prices can be a little steep, especially on alcohol. A glass of hard cider (which I really appreciate that they carry) cost (if I recall correctly) $8 for a 9 oz serving. To minimize your wait to order, come on a week day evening after 7 pm.

The food at Sea Salt is always top notch! I can't believe it's located in a park! What a hidden gem. This was my second visit and the food did not disappoint. To think fresh sea food in the middle of Minnesota. The scallop tacos were a real treat. Lots of tender sweet scallops in corn tortillas. The setting is also wonderful by the river. Can get very crowded, but the line moves fast and well worth it. Grab some wine with your meal and it doesn't get and better.
So good I'm craving more!I had the New Orleans BBQ shrimp meal and my Aunt had the shrimp basket, and both were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I wish I would have been able to go back again for dinner. If you go to Minnehaha Falls, you have to eat here, you will not be disappointed unless you hate life. ? ? ?⚜️

The tacos were bland. Sauce was the same red sauce on the three different tacos we tried. The shrimp tasted like precooked frozen fish. The fried fish was good on its own - would maybe try the basket or sandwich next time. The tacos were just unimpressive.

Normally this place is great, but not today. Arrived early in the evening to almost no waiting in line. Ordering went smooth enough & seating was plentiful. However the wait for food was extremely long. 40+ mins for an order of fish tacos & a fried haddock special. My fish tacos came out first. Batter was cold to the touch. I didn't even eat them. My partner's meal was served hot. Not really sure what happened there, but I was unwilling to wait any longer for them to fix it. Guess I'll have to wait until next year to give them another shot.
