Wednesday afternoon: stopped in for a drink, the bartender was lovely and sweet. Gave me complimentary beans and rice which were spicy and had a nice smoked flavor. The slushy cocktail was nice. Fast forward to Friday night: told my friend about my experience and she wanted to go. Ordered another slushy. It was too sweet. Ordered boneless wings. They were mushy and the bleu cheese dressing was runny and no bleu cheese. No celery. My friend had Mac n cheese which was decent-ish. Then a guy came in, sat next to me and decided he could grope me a few times. After shouting NO at him, he touched me without my consent again so I told my friend we had to go. That place sucks on a Friday night.

Great service and food was AMAZING. The chicken tenders are juicy and crispy! The Mac n cheese was some of the best mac n cheese I've ever had. Great atmosphere too.

I am from Louisiana and this food and environment makes me feel back at home. Best chicken around, love the fries and their sauce. Fantastic staff. All that said- and this might be controversial- I feel like the Mac and cheese isn't quite there yet. Needs more tang.

Anyone that frequent restaurants in the Twin Cities knows who Justin Sutherland is. I was fairly hyped to try this joint. We pulled up on a Sunday night; Probably a mistake on our part. The Bartender signaled us to grab a table and our server will help us. After 20 minutes of no service or menus, the bartender approached us and wondered where the server went (!?); No knock on her since she was very friendly and ensured us that we'd get our order. She was great. After we received our drinks (The old fashioned I ordered was handed to me in a tiny plastic cup), I noticed our actual server was walking around on his phone and taking pulls out of the vodka bottle at the bar! The Tennessee Hot Sammie I ordered was nothing special, the cheese curds were just cubes of cheese battered and deep fried, and the waffle fries were basic fare. The bartender/savior and the music (bops all night) saved this review from a 1 star rating. By the way, once our server got off the phone, his friends showed up, got seated right away, and had drinks expedited to them too.

It's open on Monday! If you're looking for chicken sandwiches and waffle fries without Chick-fil-A, this is the place, and better! The have mini chicken sandwich sliders they do in a flight with your choice of three different varieties, all were good. And the in-house made sauces are better than Chick-fil-A sauce

We got a variety of things to try out. Variety app sampler included wings (choose bone in or out and sauce), tenders (choose sauce), fried cheese cubes, string onion fries, and some veggies on the side. We also got “Legs for Days” which SAYS it’s 2 jumbo chicken legs but really, they’re normal size. Just cut out and flattened. Also comes with fries and coleslaw. With all that said, the food just wasn’t that great. The “jumbo chicken legs” were dry and bland. As for the bone in wings in the apps, I got Njim Spice and it was way too salty. Not a good balance. Everything else was sub par and as expected. This isn’t a place I would go for food, but it’s in a good, convenient location, and the staff is amazing. So I’d probably come here again. The slushy alcohol drink was apartment very good as well. Give that a try! Maybe just come for alcohol? ?

Tried this place out last night and was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Friday night around 7 and got seated right away. Ordered a couple of specialty cocktails which were very decent but a little on the sweet side for my taste. For food we got the battered green beans, bone in Buffalo wings, and the tacos. Everything was delicious but he tacos were my favorite! mango salsa they come topped with is AMAZING and very fresh. The service was friendly and no real complaints there, a little slow and the timing of the items we ordered being brought to the table was a little off (i.e. my boyfriends entry arrived a solid 5 minutes before mine), but not a big deal. Waitress even accommodated my request for a drink that wasn't on the menu, which was very much appreciated! Will be visiting again!P.s. if you're looking for a quite place to have a conversation this might not be it- the music is VERY loud and "clubby" ?

The music is FIRE, food is pricy but not too bad for the experience. they probably have some of the best music in the twin cities in my opinion. The Yard bird is fire, the nijm spice wings are fire, the waffle fries are fire when hot and dip them in the seasoned sour cream!

The douche bag of a bel hop door dipwad refused to let me and my friend in for food one night. Not sure the reason why, as he just yelled: "you dont come here, you dont come here" Probably wont ever return

Bad experience. Service wasn’t that great. Our waiter seemed annoyed with us. We didn’t get everything we ordered and we were serviced uncooked chicken. But that isn’t the reason I’m writing this review and giving it a one star. Look at photo. Cheddar was thrown on a biscuit and they called it a cheddar biscuit.

After hearding a few people chat about Side Chick, I decide to stop in on a weekday for happy hour. The Side Chick drink included Don Julio, Simple Syrup, Maraschino Liqueur, Angostura Bitters with Lemon Juice and zest. It was ordered by mistake and came with a sticker shock of $45. However, it was just ok. Not something I would ever order again. My meal included the Nashville Hottie Sandwhich. It was probably the best thing I ate there but not the best sandwhich I have ever had. I also had the lemon pepper dry rub wings with waffle fries. Neither was worth mentioning and I am sure I won't be ordering it ever again. As for atmosphere, this would still be a decent spot to hang out in Uptown as the music is fire! Mostly 90's R&B and hip hop. It's a vibe in itself. The location makes a it a great stop before heading to Up-Down as they are a couple doors down from each other so it makes looking for street parking worth it if you hit two spots.

Great establishment: very much enjoyed the chicken and $15 bottomless mimosas were choice. Fries were great and so was our server Laila, would recommend!

I was excited to try Side Chick and might of had too high of hopes. We had tried to call Saturday to see if they do reservation and no one answered so we stopped by on a Saturday around 7:30 PM and two of us were seated right away. The atmosphere was great. This would also be a great place to watch games with all the TVs. We ordered drinks and the fried pickles and got them right away. The fried pickles were okay, they were thinner, which I like, but had no seasoning or dipping sauce, so they left a little to be desired. We split the Caesar salad, which was not great. I can't decide if it was the dressing or the the quality of the lettuce (it's a little dark in there). I was a little surprised when they gave us plastic silverware packets and no extra plates. We ordered the Nijm wings, which had amazing flavor. These are probably the smallest wings I have ever had, but the flavor was great! I am not sure what they use for their blue cheese, but it tastes like it is store bought and has a weird flavor. We also ordered the Nashville Hottie, which was good. I honestly thought it would be hotter, but it was still good and you could tell it was fresh and quality chicken. The waffle fries that came with were plain jane, no seasoning or salt and pepper. While we had a mix of hits and misses, it has potential and I would love a good chicken joint in the area.

This Hawaiian burger was delish. I prefer my food spicy so it didn't win me completely. The flavors came together nicely.
