Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

The food here is consistent. Brunch is good but seems less interesting than some breakfast bar in St. Paul. The pastries we had were very good.

My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.

Great spot with some really great dishes.Grab a spot close the open kitchen. In always enjoy watching the staff cook and work the pass.Every dish I has was great and unique in its own way.The scallop crudo was a dish I’ve never had the scallops where sweet, and shaved flavored ice on top was so much more than a typical crudo dish. The halibut was great. Som many flavors and textures, but still being true to the fish.Dessert was a total nom nom.

What a special restaurant! Been wanting to dine here for a while. Reservations are highly recommended. Service was fantastic! We ordered the spaghetti Nero to share: squid ink pasta with a generous amount of seafood! Our entrees were the ribeye steak and the duck breast. Both grilled to perfection! Because we were celebrating our anniversary, our server gave us a sweet treat. Extensive wine list and delicious cocktails!

Had the leg of lamb and it was delicious. Their bourbon sour was also fantastic, but if you are there in the spring, the Strawberry and Sorrel Mille Fueille was one of the best desserts I have ever had.
