As a Starbucks employee myself, I was quite disappointed by the customer service at this location. This is not what Starbucks is known for. Please be polite while you serve the guests as they pay for their drinks, You are not doing a favor. ? If you make a mistake rectify it, that’s protocol.

This Starbucks is convenient for anyone near the U of M, and I've been here plenty of times. Compared to Starbucks further from campus, I don't feel like drinks are made quite as well or with quite as much care. However, the friendliness and service I've received here make up for it. For example: recently I ordered the new Acai drink and what I got in a cup was pretty much just sugary syrup over ice (it wasn't even pink like the picture), and when I questioned it they didn't hesitate to remake it correctly. I assume most employees are students and I've had nothing but pleasant exchanges with them.

Like many other Starbucks, the lines at this one can get very long. Most people come between their classes for their caffeine fix so you should definitely try to avoid coming in those times. The hallway this is in can get very crowded too when people are waiting in line and waiting for their drinks. The drinks here taste about the same as you would expect any Starbucks drinks to taste. I usually get a Carmel macchiato or a refresher with lemonade. The only complaint I have is that when I ask for light ice, I don't actually get light ice. When I finish the drink and half my cup is ice I just get very frustrated. Overall, this location is very convenient and easy to get to on campus. Nice to have a place to get a drink and a snack between classes and studying.
