This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.

Phenomenal food and service. Both the restaurant and bar are a fantastic experience and can’t recommend highly enough. Staff is incredibly kind; definitely check this place out!

Incredible food with playful touches, comforting and delicious. I love having a tasting menu option in the twin cities that doesn't feel overly pretentious or cold. It feels like the staff instantly makes friends with everyone who comes in their door. Super inviting & hospitable. You never want to leave. The music has been 10/10 as well.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Unless you want to be verbally harassed by the owner and pay way too much for mediocre food. Minneapolis has many better options. Not worth it!

We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

Our first visit to Tenant was impressive and memorable, exactly what other 5-star reviews reflect. However during our second visit, the unprofessional conduct of the Head Chef/Owner, Cameron, left us disappointed and unwilling to return. The experience was ruined by his bizarre and crass behavior. Throughout the evening, he engaged with guests inappropriately - jokingly shattering a glass on the ground and shouting/gesturing obscenities to a fellow cook across the restaurant. The pinnacle came when he publicly berated a woman in front of the entire restaurant. Such language and behavior towards your guests is inexcusable. It's clear that he takes pleasure in asserting dominance over his guests. Tenant's blurred lines between the back and front of house emphasize Cameron is not suitable for customer-facing interactions. I recommend you take note of these negative reviews and consider dining elsewhere. It's a shame that such culinary talent at Tenant is overshadowed by the poor conduct of its owner.

Stay away unless you’re hungry for a Grade A d-bag to berate you in front of your friends and other diners.Cameron has no business running a business. He’s abusive, demeaning, volatile, arrogant, patronizing and incredibly disrespectful. In what universe is it appropriate to verbally abuse and body check customers to the point where they feel like they need to get the police involved? Based on how he’s responded to previous negative reviews, it’s clear that he has no modicum of humility or respect for himself.People don’t go out of their way to share about a poor experience, dude. You’re obviously the problem. If you can’t take the heat, you should literally get out of the kitchen and get your life figured out.

Drunk, terrible owner who is abusive to guests unprovoked. He was terrible to my very sweet friend. Don’t waste your money unless you want to be treated worse than you would at McDonalds, attacked by a the owner for no reason, and want to end your evening by calling the police. Read the other reviews - this isn’t the first time. Many situations in the past year where the owner harasses guests, and you can tell by his responses that he gaslights and further abuses people.

Went into Tenant for the first time, was super excited to eat here. Had no idea I would be verbally harassed the entire meal by the Chef Cameron Cecchini. He asked me if I did drugs, vaped in my face, made a comment about my partners genitals, shouted at me across the restaurant, and made a customer stare me down. Truly astonished. I hope people like this in the food industry do not get support for their insane behavior. To top it off the food was nothing special.
