Better go kramarczuck. They use their food anyway but more expensive here. Water- self serving , and automatically pay 20% surcharge +food price.

VISITED: 15MAR2024. First time dining here. Yes, first time on the Ides of March.Service, food, atmosphere were spectacular and exceeded my expectations!I was expecting this to be a takeout spot and was planning to get my order to-go. I was pleasantly surprised that they had nice, clean, ample dine-in seating. Ordering is at the counter then choose your seating.I visited for breakfast and had the smothered breakfast burrito. It tasted awesome! The homemade chorizo was a really good. I'd describe it as better than any chorizo I've had before. Also, I'm a sucker for tomatillo sauce. I didn't think I'd finish the burrito but it was so good I couldn't stop eating.I was surprised that there wasn't tipping so I attempted to leave one on my way out. I was informed that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill to help provide a living wage to the staff. I can support that because everything was worth it!I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. There were bakery items on display but I didn't partake. The coffee was tasty, hot, and plentiful.

Went for brunch. Line moved quickly. Food was good but could have been hotter. It is very loud in the restaurant.

First time here I got food poisoning. Second time here they charged a 20% service fee for counter service, the sunny side eggs had raw whites, and they lock the customer restroom with a secret code. $60 for two breakfasts with one coffee and one mimosa. Will not do business with again.

This place is too freaking expensive!!! Even simple items on their menu such as Biscuits and Gravy is nearly $15 bucks? and they have the nerve to add a surcharge!!! ?Good luck remaining in business five years with these prices.

This is my second time eating here and OMG the food is to die for! Staff is super nice and the setup is very inviting. I love meeting here with my friends and enjoying some house coffee and food. Last time I came, I got The Buttered Tin Hash and it was well worth the $15.50! You won't find much of a better price for a salmon meal, let alone one that tastes this delicious and looks this good!

I have been to the St Paul one once, but today was my first time trying the Northeast one. This space is bigger and more open, but lacks a bit of the charm. I experienced terrific service, including expedited cinnamon roll preparation which meant we got to eat it immediately upon seating. The coffee was hot and fresh. I got the salmon with root veggies and squash because I mixed up the name of the dish with the walleye one I really wanted. I noticed after ordering, but thought if the buttered tin can live up to their reputation it won't be a problem. Folks, it was a real delight and I don't even care much for salmon. Can't wait to go back and successfully order the walleye

The food was pretty good. The disappointment is that it’s self serve but they automatically charge a 20% service fee. Stand in line to order and get a number. They bring the food to your table but that is all. You are required to take the plates to a cleaning cart. Makes no sense.

Three of us and it was $79 for breakfast. Food was mediocre at best. Pancakes, BLT and smothered burrito. Two strips of bacon in the BLT. Way overpriced!!! I cannot recommend because of this and the below average food (taste and quantity)

Breakfast food was pretty good, but service is lacking. One person on the register with a long line out the door. Several people standing around behind the counter and no one really had any sense of urgency to help move people through faster. Then even when we did FINALLY sit down, the table was dirty. food did come quickly once we sat down though. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Ultra cozy, bright, warm, honey-colored vibes. You’ll notice the sweet and savory aromas right as you walk in. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. There is a spot to rest/digest and walk along the river right across the street at this location in NE. TBT is a home for anyone any day of the week.

Wednesday 730AM - lots of parking and the restaurant was wide open. Ordered the homemade granola, chai latte, matcha latte, huevos rancheros. Everything was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. I'll be coming back!

As formulaic and forgettable as its "adjective noun" name.
