I get their poke bows delivered to work through Foodsby. I really like the amount of ahi tuna I get for the price. I think the poke bowl is great.

Pretty disappointed in the quality of the raw ingredients from this spot. Have ordered it a few times in hopes it was an anomaly because I absolutely love poke, but in 1 instance there was rancid pineapple and another today the cucumbers were translucent and old and the edamame was brown. They seem to keep ingredients far too long and for a dish that's supposed to be fresh for raw fruit/veggies to be an issue is concerning. Luckily it hasn't been the fish, but I don't plan to test it out again.

Very disappointing Banh Mi. It was a saucy mess just loaded carrots, tiny bit of daikon, barely any cilantro, no jalapenos, and an EXTREMELY thin small piece of cucumber. Normally Banh Mi taste bright and refreshing, this was more sludgy and low effort. YMMV

I want to give this cute spot five stars! The Cove is a no frills lunch spot with a lot of customizable options (brown rice, pick all your favorite toppings, sauces and spice level). I think the quality is solid and the portion sizes are generous! The missing star is to account for the inconsistency. Sometimes a level 2 spice level is perfect and sometimes it's wayyyy to much. Sometimes they add lots of fish, sometimes just a few pieces. I think it just depends on who is working that day. I think they could improve on staff training to improve consistency. Despite this, I find myself coming back to this delicious spot for a quick and filling lunch! It's definitely worth going and trying out! I also think the fusion theme is awesome - they have sushiritos, banh mi, rice bowls, steam buns, sambusas, burgers, etc! It's a pretty impressive variety.

I got a poke bowl for take out! Portion size and ingredient quality were both fantastic. Great options. Order was ready when I got there. Decent amount of street parking near by which is always a concern for me when driving into the U of M campus. I will be back for sure!

This is top tier food. The musubi are perfection even if they're turkey and not the original stuff. The customizable bowls are like a mix between a poke bowl and bibimbop.I ordered take-out this time but I will definitely be dining in next time and bringing some friends.

Ive been going to the Cove since it opened and it's always a hit. The food is a great price for the amount of food you get. It's always been such friendly staff too and I highly recommend trying it out. I love the rice bowl with chicken and all the toppings!
I love coming here for the food (Poke Bowl specifically) - I come back because of the music, plants + people! Love everything about The Cove! ?

Hands down the best poke place in Minneapolis . Lots of great options and easy to make it custom to your taste. Toppings and mix ins are unlimited. The portions are also large. Try it for yourself!
