Man…I just came in for a post climbing meal and it was absolutely fire. Burger was incredible. Wife got the chicken sandwich and it was also really good. Looking forward to trying breakfast and beer here.

Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.

Loved the fried Walleye, really good flavor overall, the asparagus and mashed potato sides were delicious too. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich and liked it.The brussel sprouts and goat cheese app was unique and delicious, we also enjoyed the cheese curds with the spicy sauce. We had a large group with a handful of kids and service was very accommodating and nice.Parking: Minneapolis so all paid parking, meter police were everywhere.Kid-friendliness: They had kids meals and mickey mouse pancakes

My partner and I went there yesterday evening to get a late night bite and decided to split the Blue Ribbon Turkey Burger, and we both got really sick. The meat on the burger looked kind of grey to begin with and it didn’t taste that great either, but we were both pretty hungry so we each ate our half. The hours in the middle of the night following that were very rough. And we are both feeling like death this morning. Sidenote: this has nothing to do with drinking, as we both only had one drink yesterday evening. This is unfortunate because we have always had really good experiences at Freehouse in the past; and some of their menu items are really fantastic (I.E. Rotisserie Chicken & Grilled Salmon), but last night kind of ruined all of that. Also want to mention, our server was really great and she was very good at her job considering the volume of people in there and how large her section was.Freehouse management: someone in your kitchen did not properly prepare our food last night or something used in our meal had already met its expiration when served to us. Please be aware of this.

There is no reason to go to this place over Red Cow or even Fuzzy’s terribly overpriced in terms of quality and quantity of food. Service was also not very good. I was excited to try this place due to it being busy and having good reviews but was thoroughly disappointed. I would avoid this place.

Decent food. Good space. Dishonest tipping strategy. Was told to insert a dollar amount and ignore the preset percentages afterward I put in an amount. Service was fine otherwise. Won’t be going back.

Decided to stop in on a whim. Food was excellent and price point was reasonable for the amount of food you got, especially in the North Loop area. Good selection of beer, only downside is that they don’t do flights anymore. They do offer 3-4 Oz ponies for $5, but when a pint is $7-8, doesn’t seem worth it.

We went to the Freehouse to see Roy Wood, Jr. perform. The venue had decent seating and acoustics for the ticket prices that we paid. The bar staff was phenomenal and the greeters and ushers were super helpful. I recommend the Freehouse for seeing a show.

Wouldn’t recommend takeout here, they drop the ball regularly. Ordered a burger and fries and they didn’t provide the fries again.
