Wow. I guess I’m totally blown away. Had this one my to try list for a while. Finally came by to try it. Had a great experience with service along and to top it off the food was amazing. Cooked perfectly.

Good food, relaxed environment, decent experience, higher prices so be ready for that. Kind staff, but will rush you at the same time. Open flame drinks & certain dishes can be fun.

We ate at the Oceanaire, on a Saturday. Reservation was at 6pm. Sat immediately and greeted right away. Farrah was our server and she was amazing. She has been there ten years and knew all about the menu and seasonal specials. Had great recommendations and obviously knew what she was doing and talking about. We will definitely request to sit in her section upon return visits. She made our experience absolutely fantastic.

Portion were unreasonably small. We ordered appetizer crab cake and they got us one piece for two people. They did not even mention about the portion size. Even the main course was not impressive scallops were not fresh and salmon dry and burnt. Why should one spent so much money on terrible cooking. We had two people waiting our table; again unnecessary and none bothered to explain the menu. For fine dining experience won't recommend this place. Just a rip off.

My partner took me here for my 25th birthday. Service was nothing spectacular. It seemed that once our waiter realized that we weren’t going to spend $250+ he wasn’t as interested in our table. I liked the hors d’oeuvre plate and bread. The breading was falling off the calamari, but my partner still really enjoyed it.Steaks were mediocre, wouldn’t place it near my top 10. My partner ordered a 10 oz medium and I ordered a 6 oz medium rare. My 6 oz came out medium well and my partner’s came out rare. I hate to send back food at restaurants, but it was so soft and rare that my partner joked it was still mooing and we sent it back to be put on the grill again. I was also a little disappointed that there was no free dessert, but understand that lots of people say it’s their birthday when it’s not and we didn’t order drinks so they did not check my ID and maybe that’s just not a part of their deal there.Overall, for a higher end place and the money we spent I wouldn’t say our experience lived up to our expectations. (Also, some girl had puked all over the bathroom floor so that was slightly off putting as well, but cannot blame the restaurant for that.)Parking: Parking garage is really tight and windy, which is why we didn’t have drinks at dinner. Cost $10 and we were there for probably two hours on a Friday night. Valet was $15.

Oceanaire is an excellent seafood restaurant. This is always one of our top choices when we are in Minneapolis. The service is always excellent. The food is always fresh and very good. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent from the moment we sat down. We got the crab cake, which was the best one I've ever had. We got the sesame tuna entree and the mixed grill and both were phenomenal. Our server was very helpful and attentive without being overbearing.

The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the service was nothing short of extraordinary. Justin, our server, was a delight! He helped make for a wonderful and full evening!

We had Justin for a waiter, he was top notch and on top of his game. It made our dining experience very memorable. My wife had Swordfish and I had the Sea Bass. ( BEST EVER!!) Oysters ROC for appetizer and baked Alaska for a surprise desert. Kudos to Justin and the rest of the table wait staff . The chef has his act together. Fine Seafood dining!

I went for dinner at 6 on a Thursday, it was fairly quiet when we got there but quickly filled up as our dinner went on, by the time we left it was nearly full. Service might have been the best I've had, with kind and attentive staff checking in throughout the meal. Food was reasonably priced for what we got, which was a good sized portion of high quality seafood, would definitely return but maybe at a quieter time.

We had the worst dining experience ever imaginable for Valentines day. Complete disaster from wait times, our food was inedible. We will never return. We left hungry. The GM, Ryan Hite was unapologetic, rude and did absolutely nothing to make our experience better. Other than..."well I gave you my business card.. isn't that enough?" "It's a busy night, what more can I say?" "If I could.snap my fingers to make you happy, i would". Inexcusable and plain offensive. And we were still charged for our drinks and crab cake. Two tables down from us also left without receiving their meals.

I was 5 minutes early for my reservation but had to wait 30 minutes to get my table in the restaurant and when we finally got seated we didn't get our food for another hour I also thought there was a dress code but people still had hoodies on and revealing clothing

Great food, excellent and friendly service!! The restaurant has a published dress code that isn't enforced. The visuals of what some of these patrons were wearing in this high end restaurant were disgusting.
