One of several go to places to eat on the west side of Lake Harriet, Zumbro is a delicious healthy option for terrific fare. Soups, salads, sandwiches. They have great keto options. Gluten free and organic. Their food is delicious and unusual, the eggs benedict out-of-this-world. Enjoy !

With the advent of Covid-19, this restaurant has significantly changed. It has become takeout only. There is no walk up service. Diners call in, order and pay by phone. If you didn't call ahead, the menu and phone number are listed on the outside of the restaurant. This may take longer. When the order is completed, diners enter one at a time to pick up their order in a bag on the table. There is no contact between employees and customers. I ordered the buckwheat wild rice pancake. The buckwheat flavor was subtle. The wild rice was visible and added flavor. The two plate sized pancakes arrived in a takeout container.

Zumbro is one of our favorite places for brunch. Everyone is super nice and have a great service.They have awesome coffee, green tea and their food is delicious. I love the wild rice with chicken and rosemary sauce. It is served with toast and an outstanding home made jam. 10/10!!!

All of their pancakes are great - I usually get the buckwheat. Also love their steak sandwich and portabella frittata. Their home fries are the best I've ever had. Get breakfast to go! It's definitely worth it.

My friends and I really enjoyed Zumbro. Everything tasted fresh and most were homemade. It has a nice warm feel to it and it's in a quieter neighborhood of MPLS. I would come back if I was in the area.

Came here for brunch to catch up with a friend, and it didn't disappoint! Such a cute and cozy cafe. There was a wait when we got in, but they turned tables pretty quickly. For food I ordered a chicken pesto benny (it was a special) - so delicious! Instead of english muffins they use a thick piece of toast and for a side you get breakfast potatos. You can tell the food was fresh and of good quality! I'd highly recommend this place for breakfast. Instead of vodka in their bloody mary they use sake. It was good and they use a house made spicy mix!
