We cane for the burlesque show and the performers seemed great however they sold us tickets for a table literally behind a wall, i am not even joking. We could not see the stage at all, the two tables closest to the door are directly behind a frosted glass and wood wall. We left early because no one could see a damn thing unless the performers came around the wall which was not often and the staff wouldn’t let us stand or move spots. Food is super expensive for very small quantities. I had a single moscow mule and it tasted very strange. I don’t know what was in it but when I went home later I ended up throwing up multiple times. Never coming here again.

Went here with my partner for our anniversary, and it did not disappoint! Excellent drinks, food, service- nothing to complain about. Great aesthetics indoors, and an immersive experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Awesome atmosphere. Good food. Great drinks. The server was rude, inattentive, and dishonest, which ruined everything else. Brought my bill 20 minutes after I asked for it, without the itemized part of it, which seemed a bit high for what I ordered. After asking for the itemized bill, I realized that they had already added the 20% gratuity that he didn't earn. Very dishonest to try to get me to add even more of a tip by attempting to hide that fact from me. We are well known patrons and fans of all of the other Volstead owned establishments. Be honest, and tend to your customers in a friendly fashion. That clown should not be working in the hospitality industry. Do better Volsteads.

I booked a table Valentine's Day. And then I get there and food is not being served. Nowhere on their website they say where their food cut off was. So we ended up going somewhere else.

Our experience here was unique and exciting! The secrecy of the location and the entrance were so fun, and the food and drinks were top notch. Do yourself a favor and spend a few hours at Volstead.

This is absolutely the wrong venue for a burlesque show — our tickets bought us seats where the the stage was fully blocked from view. Having paid to see a show where the show simply wasn’t visible feels gross, and I hope in the future they do not let people pay for seating where they can’t see what I imagine was a great show.

Volstead's is a fun place with great drinks, great music, and delicious food. However, the entree portions are very small for the price. The market fish entree for $22 included maybe 4oz of fish and maybe a quarter cup of rice pilaf. The cornbread for $14 was about 7 inches in diameter. The server was slow to refill waters and run food. Go for drinks and the music, but eat dinner first.

We reserved the coal room for a birthday party of 15. It was perfect. The room was private with fun atmosphere, food was fantastic, service was attentive! This will now be my go to for private parties! So pleased with the experience!

This was maybe the most fun I’ve had going out. The place is so unique (kinda hard to find, but that’s part of it). You knock on an unmarked door then walk through a regular hallway then when you open the door into the space, the reveal is incredible. You are transported to 1920’s speakeasy. It’s so moody and viby. There are really cool hidden rooms and spaces. The food is reasonably priced and very good. The drinks are beautifully presented and very good as well. The servers are quirky and interesting. Oh also - incredible chocolate cake.
