Staff was great! Very inviting. Beers just aren’t up to the quality of Junkyard and Drekker to me. If you’re looking for not as crazy of flavors and more basic this is your spot!

The place is full of fun and exciting beers ?. If you're in the Moorehead,MN side, I would suggest you hit them up on your way to junkyard. The brews are always changing, and they have live music ? ? here quite often.

Great local beer and live music.

Great beer, good vibes, lovely spot. Had a very nice convo with one of the owners. Can't wait to get back to Moorhead (something I never thought I'd say lol)

Good selection of beers and a clean tap room

I know that there are people who love LIVE music but I'm not one of them. I know that that there are people who love LOUD music but I'm not one of them. When I sat down with my laptop and my delicious beer, it was quiet. Just after I started plugging away on my laptop and sipping at this great beer, the musician started up. He was loud. I'd have been fine if it wasn't super loud. Like if maybe people at nearby tables could have a conversation without shouting. But nope, this was just about concert volume. 78 to 83 decibels which Yale Environmental Health & Safety says, "Level at which sustained exposure may result in hearing loss." The folks at the next table were shouting to continue their conversation. Friendly service. Great little local brewery. But it was one excellent beer and out. Sorry, Swing Barrel. Maybe next time! Went there for their "parking lot" party! Had a number of food stalls and The Sam Bass Band live on stage. I have to say that the bass play was on fire, move over Les Claypool there is another string slapper moving up FAST!Wonderful variety of their own brews. I had the El Luchador and Roast Bones... great brews!! I am going to have to go back soon to try their Octoberfest selections.

I tried to go to this brewery in July and when I got there, they had posted a sign saying they were closed to the public for a private event. I wanted to go again today (in August), so called first, and only got an answering machine. I still chose to try to stop in during posted hours, but they again had a sign posted on the door that they were not open. This brewery may have great beer according to the ratings, but I don’t believe they are ever open. If so, they are not posting accurate hours online.

Popped in Thursday to check it out. Beertender Rachel was friendly. Being a warm day with an agenda I opted for a half pint of the refreshing El Luchador. It was a comfy sized tap room and it wasn't too loud. Small parking lot that they share w the other businesses but easy street parking. Thanks Swing Barrel

A quick hop from downtown Fargo is this nice brewery. Relaxing atmosphere, nice music (not too loud), and friendly staff. We love IPA's and they had several to choose from. My husband got the Tree Shaker and I ended up getting the Sweet Melissa because I love a good peach beer. The place is dog friendly out on the patio, but no shade in the afternoon, and well behaved dogs are invited to come inside which is awesome! We travel with an eleven year old pug so it's nice to have the option of bringing him inside when it's hot out.

I love this brewery. Owner and workers are always chill. There's some fun events and I can comfortably bring my dog. I usually do homework/work here
