This place is an unexpected surprise find! Our waitress was friendly, fast and helpful. The food was excellent, giant jumbo shrimp with a light crispy breading, and wallet was huge and nicely breaded crisp! Gorgeous view of the lake, easy parking, pool table, outdoor patio overlooking the lake, full bar stocked with great bartenders, big menu to choose from and the cheesecake keeps is coming back, our favorites are the oreo mint, snickers and blueberry.

McBees is a nice little bar and grill on the lake. Standard American bar fare, although I will say that you should try the hand cut fries. They're quite tasty.What makes McBees a must-stop destination is the cheesecake. It's homemade and sold by the quite generous slice. There are several varieties stocked so you might feel like you found small-town Minnesota's answer to The Cheesecake Factory. And you might just be right.
