Hardly anyone in the restaurant but the service was terrible! We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated then waited even longer for someone to take our drink order. NO ONE came to take our meal order. Paid for my drinks and left. WORST service I've ever gotten. So disappointed!

Met up with my family in Owatonna to have lunch and celebrate my husband's birthday. When we drove into the parking lot we noticed only 3 other cars in the lot and looked over to see Famous Dave's parking lot was full with customers. I found this odd and told my daughter maybe we should be eating there. The service was slow. When we received our water I had asked for a lemon slice. The waitress brought a small bowl with several lemons. When I went to grab a lemon I noticed the one laying at the bottom was brown. Skipped that! The waitress brought my grand children's lunch handing my daughter a dirty plate for one of my grandchildren. My daughter immediately handed it back to the waitress. When our meals arrived much later my daughter went to put ketchup on her hamburger noticing right away the moldy tomato. The waitress again apologized and said they would make another. My daughter declined feeling sick about the tomato. The waitress said she would have the manager come over. The manager never came and as we were getting ready to leave I asked if the manager was coming. Finally the manager came, I asked to speak in private calmly and speaking in a low voice, she was apologizing and immediately made excuses stating we checked and it was just that one tomato. I told her I was incredibly concerned about the restaurant. She then stated I am going to have to ask you to leave so you don't talk in front of any customers. I told her we were already leaving and i would be sharing my concerns with the health department. I strongly encourage you not to go to this restaurant.

Went as a party of 4 All our dinners were really good. We all had something different d everyone was pleased with their meals. Shrimp was really good and the others ordered prime rib, walleye, and a burger. Great appetizers. Have had a lot of different ones on several occasions Wild rice soup really good Server was very accomidating Will definitely be back

I made reservations for family of 13 and was not told when I called to make the reservation that we would be forced to pay a 20% gratuity, nor to bring cash because if i was paying with a card I'd get charged a hefty 3.5% for the the "convenience" of using a card. We usually pay 20% tip but I don't like being forced, especially if I get a poor waiter or waitress; or bad food, and we did get subpar food! My sandwich was child size small and salty and not at all tasty. They wanted to charge us a 5 dollar up charge to get soup instead of fries! I then did not realize until she walked off with my credit card we were being soaked 3.5 % for using a credit card. First time I've been charged a fee by a major restaurant chain for using a credit card. We were paying for almost the entire party so we ended up paying almost 10 dollars to use a credit card and could have easily paid cash if I'd noted the fine print at the bottom of the paper invoice before she trotted off with my card The food was poor quality, small portions, greasy, and salty salty all around. The drinks were expensive. A "moscow mule" was 8.5 bucks! My niece lives in Owatonna and we went to celebrate her birthday. We won't choose that place again. Just got my discover card bill for 267 dollars and have a bad taste in my mouth all over again. The ONLY good thing about the experience besides getting to spend time with extended family was the waitress was MN nice. I hope the manager sees this! Look us up. Give me a call. We were there July 23, 2023... 5p 13 people. At least credit us the 3.5 fee you soaked us for using a credit card. The kid who took our reservation should have told us 1. you force us to pay 20% gratuity and 2. you would charge that 3.5 % for using a credit card. We would not have come had I known that up front!!! We'd have gone to Pizza Ranch!!!

We had a family gathering of 7 for dinner. Our server, from the start, seemed confused. This young man took so much time getting drinks that I thought he’d left for the evening. Our food was average, but we watched table after table get served by two other gals while we waited… and waited. Once we got our food, he vanished. We asked other servers, we waved staff down, all to no avail. Finally, after we’d finished our food, we got our drinks. And, of course, the obligatory request for a 20 to 25% tip on the card reader, with him standing there… watching. It’s a nice restaurant, comfortable and roomy. But they need to train the staff. Or at least find our young man another position in the restaurant.

My order was wrong we couldn't eat it or drink it due to it being incorrect. And it appeared that the owner/Mgr guy was insulting an employee while we viewed thru the drive-thru window. Not a good look..

We drove almost 2 hrs.on a day trip to checkout the famous sporting goods attraction and with intent to have a nice meal before heading back home. We stopped to eat around 3:00 at this place which was practically empty. Hubby ordered the “ Ole “ prime rib and I had broiled walleye filet. My husband requested to our server if they could try not to have one with too much fat. The meal came pretty fast and his steak was almost making me gag, He ordered medium and I said that is rare! Fatty, and tough to cut and not warm enough. He got very little meat. The rest we took home to give some to our dog and the rest thrown out to crows. My walleye had small bones for about the first several bites. And a little fishy taste in the center. When the Waitress asked how things were I mentioned the bones and asked about a dinner roll that was suppose to be included. After we were done eating as much of our meal we could she came to apologize that the “ buns were still baking”. I told her not to bother we were done. It’s not the waitress’ fault we were both disappointed but we did not make a scene. This review is the only way to tell people about the experience. As a side note, we left there and went to Perkins for pie and coffee to get the bad tastes out of our mouth.

Had the worst prime rib ever. So grizzly, it couldn't be cut with a serrated knife. Can't believe it was served and prime rib is highlighted on the menu. It was pretty obvious that the meat was not slow roasted and likely just warmed. Too pricey for the food served. Will not ever go back and don't recommend. Go some place else. Service was very slow.

We stopped for lunch and had the Sunday special of prime rib for 21.99. It was awful, no flavor, very tough, tasted like it was warmed over. I will say they adjusted the bill. The rest of the food was excellent. We had a sweet waitress but service was slow and believe me no one was there. Used to go all the time but quite pricey and not same quality.

Ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the Spicy Rotisserie Chicken sandwich. Would highly recommend. A very clean restaurant with friendly staff.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and it never disappoints with the tasty food and the great wait staff serving it to you. Love it and I get excited knowing I am able to visit it again!

Standard Timberlodge in all aspects except service. We had a waitress named Sam and she was great. Made a nice supper break from travelling.

Convenient to the Interstate. Large menu. Good rolls. Our waitress was great. Food average. Had a steak wrap and the steak was really tough.
