Awesome variety, great deals, clean and organized. Would have given 5 stars if it was not for the employee that rang us up. Not friendly, very blah with a bit of rudeness. Not that I expect people to be jumping with joy but at least do not look like you are ready to die with boredom.

First, the reason I give them just one star: the 2 girls working inside were very nice and polite. Now the reason why that’s all the stars they get: the prices are outrageous. They have those chocolate and marshmallow candies from Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day as marked down from $1.49 to 79 cents each.First off, why are the prices the same? Shouldn’t the Halloween candy be marked down further since it is older? What’s the incentive to buy the older Halloween candy versus the newer Valentine’s Day candy unless you want a pumpkin instead of a heart? Second, if you go to Target, you can get a 6 pack of that candy for $5.29, but it is for Easter, which means it’s FRESH, and it’s much cheaper since you have to pay the $1.49 for one of them here. The candy for the other holidays at Target was continually marked down until it was sold out, which in most cases sold out at 50 to 70% off! Now I call that a discount! With tons of stacks of cases of old candy they have sitting there from of all of the past holidays, I wonder from what year they are from! Maybe they can sell last years Halloween candy again this year and mark it back up.There was a display with little Easter packs that were marked on the sign as $5.99 (inside was a small chocolate bunny and 3 marshmallow eggs). At the register, they rang up as $8.59. What?! I showed the girl at the register the sign and she said they were marked with a tag on the bottom as $8.59 and said that maybe the sign was from last year. Well, then either change or take down that sign! How many people buy these thinking they are supposed to be for the price shown on the sign and instead get swindled into paying more? Finally, the box candy is much cheaper at grocery stores such as Cub and HyVee, especially so when they have it on sale, which is quite often. I had the impression this was an outlet store where they get outdated candy from other places and sell it at big discounts. Not so! I can see how people (especially children) are overwhelmed going in here with all of the candy everywhere, stacks and stacks of it! However, if you were to look closely at the prices, suddenly you have an urge to just turn around and walk out. Save your money and get your Russell Stover candy at the grocery store or Target or Walmart. Much cheaper and when they discount the candy after the holiday, it is truly a discount!

Made a special stop to buy chocolate, but they were closed from 1 until 2. I was not going to wait a full hour. Very disappointed.

I like this store but the associate was intentionally unhelpful tonight.

Walked in, walked around and left right away. What a boring place and it looks like the year 1982 forgot to leave. Just pallets of stacked candy, a few shelves of candy and all crowded together so much so that you can't walk down a row if someone else is standing in it. Very expensive too. Oh and what are the prices? Not much is marked ?

I'm surprised they are still open. More Halloween candy than Christmas in the middle of December. Not organized at all. I bought a few things and had to holler to get the employee's attention because she had ear buds in and was watching her phone. No customer service as she couldn't even say hi when she rang me up.

This is the 2nd time I've arrived at the Owatonna MN store and the employees have closed early by over an hour, been inside the store watching cars of customers trying the doors to get in, give up and drive away. I waited and spoke to an employee whose response to closing early was that corporate told her she could. Today's date is 9/ 10/23 Sunday and the time was 455pm . I spoke to the young lady at 515 pm.

Best chocolates and some of the best prices! Highly recommend the Blooper Box!

It is easy to find and well stocked. I think the candy is a bit pricey.
