We made a special trip from the Twin Cities just to come here for lunch this past weekend and it was well worth it! Everything about it, from the greeting as we entered to the service and the food, was top notch. Our waitress, Angela, was probably one of the best waitresses to ever have served us in any restaurant. She went out of her way to answer any questions to make sure we ordered what we wanted. When my wife had a question about the Mega Mary (a huge Bloody Mary jam-packed with all kinds of tasty morsels), she offered to get one just to show her what was in it. When I asked about the wild rice soup, she went back and got us each a small serving to taste. BTW, it was very good and I ended up getting a bowl, which was huge compared to other places where a bowl looks like a cup. Angela really went out of her way to make sure we got what we wanted and we didn’t have to wait for any refills. Now for the food. My wife ended up getting the Mega Mary and she loved it. It definitely was a meal in itself, with steak bites, shrimp, prime rib, deep fried mushrooms, ribs, chicken and onion rings. She also had a bowl of chili which was excellent. I had a side Caesar salad, which was fresh and twice as big as what you get elsewhere, and the Beef Trio open faced sandwich. A big helping of tender bites of 3 kinds of beef, creamy potatoes and plenty of gravy. Needless to say, we couldn’t eat it all and took the leftovers back for enjoyment later.Definitely a great restaurant experience with 10 star service from Angela and the delicious food, it was well worth the over an hour drive to get here. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Food was absolutely disgusting besides the fries, I got a steak and it was rock-hard, icecold. Flavorless and disgusting, almost tasted like it was boiled straight from the freezer(weirdest steak I've ever ate) service was really bad. We waited 40 minutes just to have our orders taken when there were 4 waitresses and only 4 other tables! Waited another 30 minutes to get our food which nobody enjoyed at our table. It was the weirdest steak I ever have ate. Absolutely disgusting and staff were rude.

Food was good. We went during the week when there was only 1 waitress so I can't really fault them for the slow service, but she did well considering everything.

Not sure I like the new look. I'd rather not have the big TVs. The reason we go out is to enjoy the people we are with - conversations.

The wife and I had valentines dinner there tonight. What a great place to eat. We were able to make reservations same night and had a table waiting for us. There was live music by Melissa Schulz. My wife and I truly enjoyed her panino playing. What a great way to finish off our special second Valentine’s Day as man and wife.

Took the wife here for a valentine day lunch food was ok nothing special in my eyes. Mash potatoes had no gravy, kind of a bland taste, the steak was good nothing wrong there. The service was great, everything came on time, and the waiter always checked up on us to make sure we’re OK. The main thing that ruined for us was this guy‘s butt crack my wife had a stare at while eating her meal i’m pretty big man myself, but we got to do better while sitting at the dinner table.

Steak was good. Cooked perfectly. The only beef with the place is the prices. My God. A small mint to eat there. And I was by myself.

Steak is incredibly flavorless. Just some salt and pepper is all that’s needed. Let me know if you need me to show the cook. Super simple. Green beans were good but again toss some cracked pepper and salt on em. Loaded baked potatoe was excellent. You folks know how to season the potato skins, apply that same technique to the steaks. Bartender was super cool and friendly. Atmosphere is just how I like. But we seriously gotta get them steaks dialed in. Not many of these places left in Minnesota. Don’t mess it up. Simple fix

The food wasn't impressive. It was good, it just wasn't great. I had higher hopes I guess. I had the French onion soup and a burger that was between two grilled sandwiches.

Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and I had a Jack burger. I asked for it to be cooked to a medium and it was. The presentation was spot on, the burger was wonderful and the fries were some of the better fries I've ever had. Good job TLS ?. Thanks for the pleasant experience. Sincerely, Jacob Carlson.

Paul Bunyan Onion was amazing. Light and crispy and not at all greasy. Main courses were great as well, hot and tasty. Under 10 minutes for appetizer to arrive and under 30 for mains to come. Would and will eat there again in the future. Looking around 60 dollars for a dinner for 2 with an appetizer.
