“Definity have found a hidden gem. Was on the way home from the north shore and this hit the SPOT! Food was hot and flavorful and tasted fresh and homecooked. I had the Beef pot-roast with mashed potatoes and corn and dinner roll and the other two people with me had boasted chicken with mashed potatoes as-well. All of our meals were piping hot everything was steaming. We all also had a cup of creamy chicken wild rice soup and it was to die for! Defiantly a true Ma & Pa homecooked diner.“
“Not a bad little joint for this sleepy little Interstate 35 town. The first think I noticed was the friendly and engaged staff that had no problem bantering with customers. The next thing was all the ‘stuff’ plastering the walls which never really adds much to a business. Signs, nick nacks and this and that’s. They have a small menu and had kids hanging out which gave it a bit of a Chucky Cheese kind of feel. A little gaming area to keep the chitlens busy while Ma and Pa tip back a few. I thought it would be more of a DIVE bar by the sign out front but it felt like an Applebees. But maybe the ambience changes as the day turns to nite. Hop on in sometime on your way to Hinkley or Duluth or maybe the Twin Cities if your heading that away.“
“Best A&W I have ever been too! Great food and the best wait staff! The staff is so friendly and treats you like family. I love their Root beer and floats. Very clean and original. The atmosphere is excellent, very relaxing and friendly. The kids love sitting by the fireplace inside. Quick service.“
“I want to give Big High 5 for the beautiful graduation cake that that made for my Granddaughter. Ordered over the phone and that service to having it ready on time is outstanding. I've always said that's there's always room for a DQ. But I do have complaint. You need to be a for Brazier so I can get my Flame burger. But really, thanks for a beautiful cake. She loved it.“
“Food and service is great, soft serve ice cream too ! Stopping in and eating today. Takes me back to my youth when I ate at the local hometown restaurant. This same building in the '60s. I would have cherry cokes and fudge Sundays. Have the Denver omelette with hash browns today. Great service friendly and the food was delicious. Recommend for anyone.“
