After going to this restaurant for three years and being really pleased, tonight was a complete disappoint. Service was awful, the food has gone downhill and serving portions have decreased. I'm sorry to say this will be our last time. The all you can eat has always been our favorite. We had to ask for any sauces, the food came out one dish at a time. Rice and fried rice first so it was cold by the time we got anything else. Fried rice for three people was served on a dessert sized plate. We were seated and after at least 15 minutes we had to get up and find someone to wait on us. This was at five o'clock on a Sunday, so the restaurant was not busy yet.

Takara used to be my favorite sushi restaurant. Recently, there's been a drop in quality and service. Service has been slow. I just had an eel avocado roll. The eel tasted the way that rubber smells? Really odd, especially since I've had their eel rolls many times in the past, but it tasted inedible this time.

Went here during lunch with coworkers. All you can eat is only $18 at lunch during weekdays. The menu is shortened compared to the dinner menu--mostly fewer specialty roll options. I was pregnant at the time, but still had 3 different rolls that did not contain any raw fish + spring rolls. Everything I tried was delicious and couldn't beat the price. Would be interested in returning after pregnancy for dinner to try my more usual options. It is important to know that they close between lunch and dinner, so there's a "last call" for ordering around 2:10 or so.Vegetarian options: One of my rolls was avocado peanut, I think they had 2 others without meat as well.

Sushi was pretty bad; smaller than usual portions (compared to Kyoto) especially for $32 AYCE. Sashimi and fish in general was poorly sliced and spoiled/fishy. Tuna was gray. Service was great though, loved the waiter. Super nice and attentive, but would not go again because of the quality of the food.

I've lived in the area for almost three years and finally I've tried this place with a friend. The all you can eat is pretty good. The sushi is well made and tasty. There's other things you can get off the menu as well like Edamame, Dumplings, Crab Rangoons, etc. I really love their Miso Soup and Green Tea Ice Cream. Our waiter was a really funny and sweet dude, he made the experience so much better and more enjoyable. Probably a new favorite place to eat

The waitress was rude and literally walked away while I was ordering. Finally brought our drinks at the end of the meal. I had to ask for Wasabi several times. Totally unpleasant experience. For the price charged the food was mediocre at best. Not a good experience.

Sushi is super good! All you can eat is the way to go! Service is timely and depending on who you get, can be super friendly rather than just efficient. I'm a returning customer for a few years now. Recommend going.

Excellent quality of the food, good prices and quick service. Ambient inside is pretty much nicer from what's is expected from outside. Keep in mind that menu could be best at Lunch time rather than dinner.I recommend BMW roll and tuna sashimi.

This is my new favourite all you can eat sushi establishment in the twin cities. The quality is a step above all others I have patronised. If you are in the mood to have your full of sushi and the other usual side dishes, this place should be your first choice as well.Dietary restrictions: Should you have a soy or seafood sensitivity this might not be a good option for you.Parking: Shares a parking lot with the strip mall.

Absolutely terrible experience trying to come here for lunch at 2 PM and being told their kitchen will close in 10 minutes so if I wanted lunch all you can eat I would have to order one time and finish in 30 minutes. Absolutely zero customer service whatsoever. I even asked the guy if he was firm on that position because that is not good customer service at all when I was in the door, well before 230 and he just shrugged his shoulder and said that’s just the way it is. I guess there’s a reason the restaurant was completely empty. Avoid this place and go to Kyoto!!!

This is still my favorite sushi place around! Fantastic value and good quality food. Quick service, comfortable and moderately vibey atmosphere. One of my most favorite places to meet up with friends for dinner.

Hit or miss on the food. Beef was chewy, ramen was under seasoned, tempura was very oily. Nigiri was good, but the seaweed was "off," so I couldn't do the rolls. Very friendly service! Nice atmosphere. There's plenty to eat, but we most likely won't go back..... but worth a try for an all you can eat!
