This place used to be great. What happened to this place. Server doesn't greet, and I saw him wiping tables and putting dirty waste from the table into drinking cups.I'd say food is still good.

Other than one younger guy working there, their customer service (specifically the owner) is just rude and never in a good mood. All of my friends say they love it here but the owner is mean and rude and just needs to learn hospitality if you’re going to own a

Tea House in Plymouth used to be my favorite place for authentic Chinese food. I haven’t been there for a couple years. Things may have changed since. But I was so disappointed today that I have to write a review. I was expecting semi-authentic food because I ordered out of the Chinese menu and I talked to the server in Chinese. But the food came out “Americanized”, not authentic at all. Even worse, when the bill came, the price was couple dollars higher than what’s on the menu for each dish. So I would not recommend it if you are looking for authentic Chinese with reasonable pricing.

This restaurant is a new fav. 4 years we have been searching for good wholesome Americanized Chinese food. The Kong Pow chicken was very spicy, large portion of tender chicken, I’m a good eater, this plate I had to take home about 1/4. My wife got the Sesame chicken (seen with my meal), she loved it as well. We also had fried egg rolls- excellent flavor. The Jasmine tea served in a tea pot was great! The restaurant is clean (window ceils, a/c vents, walls, lighting, booths and floor corners) I’m in hopes this detail it means the kitchen should be clean too. I appreciate this cleanness because it’s in (my opinion) consideration of my health. The waiter was friendly and professional. All staff greeted us as we entered and exited. Good food for a decent price. No surprise surcharges on the bill either. We’ll definitely will return and with friends!

Many options that I can get with, all options I like. Can't get much better than this. The restaurant is authentic, the food is mostly authentic and of high quality, I've only had their Chairman Mao's Pork and Mongolian Beef, each is so good to me that why would I have anything else? Great service, great everything, come bring your family to the old tea house.

My all time favorites here are Chungking chicken and boiled fish. Friendly service and convenient parking.Update: It has been many years since I made a trip here until today partly due to the pandemic. Food quality remains good. I hope service can be improved. The server doesn't check back if we need anything else thru out the meal. I have to get his attention for extra rice. He doesn't even bother to ask if we need anything else before shoving us the bill.

I've been going to the Tea House for two decades, and the food is always delicious. The problem they have created is their fluctuating unknown pricing "due to inflation."They are getting ridiculous about their pricing, and just too expensive. Besides the three layers of increasing price stickers inside the menu book, they finally just slapped a big sticker on the front of the book saying they can charge 15%+ more due to inflation! So they are charging higher pricing than stated in the menu book: You don't know until you get the bill what your meal will cost. And then they put in a new pay system at the holidays, so they were having major issues splitting our bill three ways. Even going two ways on two cards - they couldn't do it. I used all the cash I had and just paid my portion of the bill. Probably last time I'll go there (after 20 years). Too bad.

Love this restuarant and their food! Prices went up, because food prices went up, just like every other restuarant, including fast food.

Absolutely terrible! I put in a to go order at a busy time and was told my order wouldn’t be ready for 90 mins. That was fine with me, as that was where my Grandma wanted to eat. We decided to do some shopping & then pick up the food. When I got home to eat the food all of it was cold. Even though I was 10 mins earlier than the time they told me to be there by. Refused to refund, horrible customer service. I work at a hotel and I tell everybody not to go there. Just awful. 40 dollars down the drain! Why tell someone to be there at a certain time & then make the food early????
