“I haven't been here since I moved to Maple Grove. I had chance to try their food last week. They didn't have buffet anymore, no dine in cuz they short staffed (no complaints). The restaurant changed a lot, things made me unexpected is food. The egg foo yang and chowmein was changed, it's better than few years ago. “Actually enjoyed coming here for the first time. The chicken dishes and pineapple nests were my favorite. I do recommend you give this place a shot. The wait staff were kind and very efficient. Empty plates were not on the table for very long. We had a party of 6 adults and 5 kids. We were seated quickly and in a roomy area. Large variety of food. Im a creature of habit and gravitated towards my favorites but they were all very good.“

“Stopped in with two of my kids, one of them for orange chicken & vegetable fried rice, the other got orange chicken & Asian noodles. The cream puffs that came with the kids meals were really tough and chewy, not crispy at all. I got orange chicken & Mongolian chicken with Asian noodles, and two egg rolls. The chicken and noodles were excellent, and the egg rolls were pretty good, but were a little bland without any sweet & sour sauce.Overall really happy, we got everything above plus a pint of vegetable fried rice to go for about $35.Kid-friendliness: The kid meals were an excellent value - so much food for the price!“

“I was there on January 30th. The food was super hot and the service was quick! What was supposed to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside was! I was actually pleased that the food was brought out as it was finished being cooked...one entree at a time. I knew that the food was fresh. The food was so hot that it didn't matter the entrees were brought out one at a time we still had to wait for the food to cool down to eat it. I was VERY pleased with the price for the amount of food we received! We were not from the area, came from UP NORTH, I don't understand the bad reviews, maybe the people who wrote the bad reviews are competitors or happened to go on and off day? We have to come down to Minneapolis area again and on the way back we are definitely stopping! BTW we have a lot of Asian Cuisine... Fargo, Duluth, Brainard Area , St. Cloud and all points in between!! So we know!“

The special lunch menu is decent and isn't overpriced, but it is limited with only a few options to choose from. The fried wontons and chicken wings are delicious!!!! They are very accommodating as long as you specify in the instructions section when you order online or verbally request what it is you want / don't want when ordering in store.“

“Excellent, fast, clean takeout ready in 20 mins with huge servings. General Tsos was excellent and the quality of chicken was much better than the take out standard. Chicken Lo Mein was also a huge helping and great flavor. Egg rolls have a nice crust and not overly greasy. Everything was great at Shanghai Chan and the workers were friendly. This will be our go to place for Chinese take out!“

Ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Wonton Soup and cream cheese wontons (arrived crunchy and with a side of sweet duck sauce!). All items were very flavorful. I was so presently surprised as our other #1 Chinese take out place does not deliver. I will look forward to placing our next order and will try other dishes. They have a good variety on their menu and even have 'diet options' for folks who are doing better at sticking to their New Year's resolutions than I am! “This is the BEST FOOD IN TOWN! The family that works at China Dragon are so kind; they even add some sugary donuts in my order just to say Thanks! Their hot and sour soup is our family favorite along with their Sesame Chicken- it is the best we have ever had. They are quick and it always comes fresh. Service, quality, freshness of food, condiments, soda and utensil area are stocked up and clean.Best of all, the food is fresh!!
