If you love homemade pie this place is worth the trip, most definitely. It was about two hours roundtrip for me, but it's a cute place and the food is also really good. But the pie. You need to order ahead if you want an entire pie or a specific pie, but you can get slices and they have "pie cookies." If you love pie crust, you gotta get a pie cookie. This is probably the only place I'd actually pay for an entire pie and be happy. Actually homemade and so delicious.

Exactly what we were looking for! The coffee is amazing, the side of pickles are delicious, the pie (blueberry) was out of the world good and and grilled cheese was ridiculously good

Cute place and yummy pie, but the employee taking our order was rude and condescending when we had questions about a some things on the menu and took a few minutes to place our order. Also, when you spend $14 for an entree and more for pie, a glass of water should be free.

Nice cafe great pie! The Fireman said it was the best cherry pie he's ever had. We also got butterscotch pecan & blueberry sour cream pie all very tasty. Indoor & outdoor dining & had a gift store attached. We also bought some bottles of craft beer.

Well, Stockholm is a charming adorable littleTown on the Mississippi River, Wisconsin side, and the pie and general store are a huge part of that charm. You order at the counter and have a buzzy thing for when your food is ready. The staff were so nice and the food came pretty fast! The food tho- wow was that ever good!!! I had the happy hippy wrap- so flavorful. A solid vegetarian choice with an amazing 3 cheese garlic sauce that was a little like hummus! Such a good flavor. My companion had the Stockholm and raved over the lingonberry sauce on the Turkey sandwich. The tea and coffee we had was delicious!! Totally worth the drive to have lunch and do a little bit of shopping and looking. We picked up a few items coughchocolatecough at the general store. Really helpful staff. A great little place

Walked in, and it is not very clear where to place an order. Finally figured out that seating is on the 2nd floor, but orders to be placed on the 1st. Went BACK downstairs to place an order, and no one was there. Someone finally showed up, and after viewing the very limited sandwich menu, we decided to eat elsewhere.
We were there in 2021 or 2022. The person working at the order counter was quite unfriendly and unhelpful to us. We had never been to this place before and could have used some information instead of him being rude and rushing us through. It was not even half full that day. We took a table and waited 45 minutes for our food to come out. We were about to leave and not get even wait any longer for the food.As to the food, there wasn't much available in fruit pies, so I ordered a savory. I won't do that again. I'd like to come back and try a fruit pie, but I am unsure if I will.I am hoping they now have better help and more variety.

The Red Wing store is kind of a little brother/sister to the Stockholm store. There isn't usually as much variety in Red Wing, but it is still a place to get those nationally/world famous pies and the sandwiches are excellent, too. The RW store appears to be having difficulties (like everyone in RW) finding employees, so there have been a couple of times when I've given up and gone on to somewhere else for lunch when no one ever appeared to take orders. That seems to be hit-and-miss.

Their Pot Pie's are as good as it gets. Portions are such that my wife and I split one with a salad and it's plenty. Their fruit pies are also killer. We ate there two weekends in a row, what a treat!

PIE COOKIE that’s all you need to know. They are perfectly sized little tastes of pie heaven. We also enjoyed a sandwich and even took a small pie to enjoy later. Everything for a perfect fall lunch. The environment and decor are a must see.
