“We stopped in after a long day of walking the Mall and the outlets.and we were looking for something good and we found it!! We ordered our food and when we received it, it wasnt what we had thought we ordered but when we talked to the lady at the register and I assume the owner, they were quick to get us what we wanted. Customer service was top notch, food was fantastic! If you're in the area stop by, you won't be disappointed. BTW......Have fun at the CWS in June ⚾️“
“Oh good gravy, I can’t begin to explain how good their Ruben Sandwich is! Side salad also on par with what tastes like homemade dressing. The side of homemade chips is a surprise bonus of deliciousness.Second time grabbing take out from here and the flavor and quality are just solid!“
“This place is great, prices are reasonable, the roast beef is super tender, service is good and the store is clean, but I just want to take a moment to shout out the chicken wild rice. I’m a huge chicken wild rice soup fanatic and I can be a bit particular, but this is the best chicken wild rice soup I’ve I ever had. It has this depth of flavor I rarely see, like it’s kind of tangy with some sort of acidity? It kind of tastes like a hint of curry powder but not really?? Whatever it is it’s incredible.“
“Great food as you can see once she kick the shoes off u know it's good..First time I went to a restaurant where I didn't need to add any sauce which is very good btw but the meat had so much flavor I kept forgetting to use it definitely would recommend for a nice date night or you can just cook up some nice food and enjoy the atmosphere, almost forgot great drinks as well...“
“I recently visited here and was thoroughly impressed by their smoked chicken, which had a perfect smokiness without needing any sauce – a true winner in my book! The brisket and ribs were also top-notch, some of the best I've had. However, I was a bit disappointed with the macaroni and cheese; it lacked the richness I was hoping for and could use more butter and cheese.Overall, it's a place definitely worth a visit for their outstanding meats, but the sides could use a bit more attention and love“
“This little restaurant was great. It’s located inside the midtown Global market building, along with other food vendors. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Marshall were outstanding. Took care of us really well. We had a lot to eat and recommend just about everything. The pork tips were a bit dry, but their spicy BBQ sauce was on point. Ribs, excellent. Brisket, excellent. We had their million dollar wings and be careful, when they say wings, they give you all the section of wings. They do not scrimp on that so make sure you don’t over order like we did ?! The collard greens were on?point?. The black eyed peas needed something, maybe a touch more salt, but couldn’t put my finger on it. They even brought out their brisket chili for us to taste test. It was delicious. It looks like they have it on special every once in a while so if it’s there the day you go, highly recommend that you try a little bowl. It was good. Just spicy enough and chili flavor came through. Great job guys!“

“Travel a lot in search for good BBQ. This was OUTSTANDING! Brisket and Pork were both super tender and flavorful (amazing) but the Ribs were out of this world good! Love their unique sauce as well. Top notch BBQ if you’re in the MSP area!“
“Detroit Ribs were TENDER & FABULOUS! Greens & Hot Water Bread (not sweet) were Good! Baked Beans & Banana Pudding were Good!Several Framed Magazine/Newspaper Award Winning/Best Articles on the Walls! Service was Respectful but a bit slow through no fault of his own! Call Ahead! ?Parking: Small number of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Street/Ground Level.“
“After a basketball tournament, we stopped in with 15 people during a busy dinner service. They found space for all of us to sit close together. The service was awesome. The food was to die for. The manager even came in and turned the basketball game on for our kids!! We'll definitely be stopping back when we're in the area again. Thank you for a great evening..... Cherry 6th Grade Boys Basketball ?“
“I love BBQ and the ribs here were excellent. Juicy, not too fatty, tasty, meaty but not too meaty. You get the idea. The brisket was good, but the ribs were better. The Texas toast was good too. It’s a cozy place, good energy on a Saturday night, and our server was the best.“
“Terrific place, all around. Huge selection of beg, proteins for every taste, and a handy guide to put together your base from mild to spicy. Server was very friendly and helpful. Brought my co-workers here for their first time, they are already planning our next lunch date here!Vegetarian options: Variety of veg options, great selectionDietary restrictions: Veg and meat proteins a plenty. Great for keto, diabetic...you csn customize as you likeParking: Easy to park“
“My group of 3 stop in before seeing a show last night. We all got they royal burger, which I really liked, i loved the fact the chips they came with were tortilla chips. I really like tortilla chips. The fried cheese curds were really good too.The did forget to bring us our cheese curds, but brought them out right away when we brought it to their attention.Drink wise, I got a cider (I don't like beer personally) which was from number twelve next door. It was as I expected, I liked it. Wasn't too dry or too sweet. My friend got the midas and he said it wasn't bad, but not really his favorite. My sister in law got bi-frost bridge, which she did like a lot.Service was pretty good, the two guys behind the bar were really nice and helpful.I liked the interior set up, I tend to like open floor concepts. They have some games and stuff to play too if you wanted. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area.“
“The place was PACKED and wait for a table was over an hour but the servers never lost their smiles! All you can eat fish fry Friday was a great deal. Fish could have used a little salt but batter was light and it was perfectly cooked. Club sandwich had good quality ingredients and was perfectly toasted. Two for one beers rounded out a Good Friday night!“
“Be aware that if you sign up for the waitlist, it’ll tell you a time to show up and check in with the host, but then they won’t find your name on the list and tell you that you never checked in and should’ve gotten a text that we never got. Then they knew move your name to the bottom of the list where you might have to wait an hour and a half. Then no one knows what’s going on and so we have to celebrate my boyfriend’s party somewhere else. Terrible place to go wouldn’t recommend.“
“We decided to use this establishment for Christmas evening dinner & it was awesome! We ordered the "All American BBQ Feast" & it was EVERYTHING they said it would be. The "ribs" were outstanding, not fatty at all! We'll be doing this again! A great value & time saver!“
“Hmmm… pretty good. Ribfest offerings were aplenty and the pricing was quite fair. I really liked the mac n chz. However the ribs themselves were very small and therefore dry. The pickled things on the side were an absolute withered joke. Got all three sauces and they all tasted the same (seriously? No white BBQ??) I much prefer the juicy ribs from Boomin. But Boomin and Animales both used frozen corn in their elote salads. Serious question, do you guys think the public is braindead? My first bite was literally still-thawing corn with Parmesan flavor. Dilly beans and banana pudding get full marks. Biscuits definitely needed salt. But seriously. Get it together where it counts guysEdit to respond. Bruh that corn was not charred at all which is necessary for esquites. Hence the frozen vibes. And you know what I meant about the cheese. Cotija or queso fresco, whichever you used.“
“Food was good, Mac and cheese was awesome. I ordered the 2 meat platter and prefered the pulled pork. I love a little more kick to my sauces. My only suggestion would be to turn up the heat on a new sauce. It's everything you want from a BBQ joint.“
“Support this small business! One of the workers gave my kiddos fruit snacks before we even ordered! Best bbq in the area! Quality is amazing food wise, it comes out quick and hot! Ribs were fall off the bone, pulled pork equally as good! My picky 5 year old at all of his pork within 5 min it was so good! Tried 3 of the bbq sauces can’t remember all the names but they were so good we had some sauce by itself! Nice staff and overall great place!“
“First time I have ever had the pleasure to takeout food from Scott Jamama. We ordered for lunch. I am super impressed. The food was great. The service was great. I seriously contemplated ordering again for dinner tonight. Keep doing what you’re doing!“
“Very good BBQ. Very clean family-friendly restaurant. Clean and very quick service. No ice tea they were out. But over all the food was very flavorful. Come out and enjoy a meal with the family. Coke products, wine slushies. Plenty of parking!“
“Had a classic? over lunch and it was pretty tasty! Got an unexpected call from Emily the owner. She expressed how sorry she was for how long the order took, due to unforseen circumstance. She did not have to make that phone call, but it spoke volumes about her integrity and dedication to service! Please check this place out!“
“Ordered the Dave Burger with Jo Jo fries and a side salad. The meal was spectacular and obviously very filling.I love all the different BBQ sauces to dip in.Great fast service and food was served piping hot.Great stop if you are in Highland / St Paul, West 7th area.“
“I'm so mad I live all the way in Rogers and have to drive to get this catfish! ? We were visiting George Floyd Square and stopped in for a quick bite to eat, we had no idea the food was going to be this good. The catfish was fried fresh, crispy, not greasy, and soooo good. The candied yams were on point! And the mac 'n cheese had just the right about of kick. Definitely on my list of the Twin Cities best!“
“Tried the Value Menu—had a great meal, got enough to eat for less than $7. Great Brava and Piri Ranch sauces. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nicely designed interior with enough seating for lunch rush on Saturday. Bonus: Beer on tap! Outdoor patio is nicely located to the west against the building. Shop at Target before or after.“
