“Great atmosphere, lovely service, yummy pub food and pull tabs...what's not to love? We had the pleasure of experiencing this neighborhood gem during our visit to Minnesota. We ordered chicken wings and shared a ruben sandwich. Yum to the yum! Our waitress, Taylor, was absolutely lovely. She was constantly moving, tending to everyone. Plus we had the pleasure of getting to chat with the other patrons. Everyone was super cool.“

“Strangely enough, I think this might be one of the best restaurants in the cities. They have this beet app that combines these flavors that are out of this world… and I’m not a huge beet guy. Seriously, my wife and I went home and have tried to replicate it after eating there.There’s also a chip app that’s unreal. Last, the burger is just delightful. “I can't say enough about how amazing Francis is! Outstanding food and drinks! They have the BEST Spicy Margarita that I have EVER had! Their drink menu has so many cool and unique cocktails that are different from any I have had before. Then there is the food...I literally think about the Chicken Sandwich daily. My daughter went 3 times the first week they were open, and continues to go weekly! There isn't an item in the menu that I've tried that is anything less than AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone tries it! You definitely do NOT need to be a vegan to love this food. Trust me, TRY IT! “We eat a lot of South Asian food, and Spice & Tonic has some of the best we’ve had in the Twin Cities area! The tandoori chicken was delicious and exceptionally moist, while the chicken curry was flavorful. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Inside, the decor was lovely and the staff friendly and fast. “We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “It was our first visit to this restaurant and every part of the experience was great. First off they (and OpenTable) handled multiple modifications to our reservation from 6 to 11 and finally to 12. When we arrived we were seated right on time and had a nice big table in the back of the room so were not surrounded by other diners. The service by Saul and the rest was perfect and the food was outstanding. They handled our boisterous birthday party very well and even gave us a portrait picture to help remember a great evening and experience.“

I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.“

“One of my favorite fine dining places in the Twin Cities. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing, light, open, airy, and in the summer fresh breezy air. On my most recent visit our server was probably one of the best servers I've had at any restaurant. So attentive (and patient of our big indecisive group). And even had a whole lighting production set up to take a group photo for us. It's truly just such a lovely experience. Then of course the food is absolutely phenomenal. The flavors are so rich and complex, but it all just feels so simple and warming. I forgot to take pictures of a couple things, the basil wings and our dessert were both great as well. There is also an incredible non-alcoholic cocktail list! It can get pricy, but it is 100% worth the value.“

“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“

“I've been to Malcolm Yards a few times and always have been pleased with my food. There is plenty of parking that is free and paid street parking. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating. Inside there are several food vendors to choose from and you can order from multiple. This time I got the chipotle sweet potato and roasted nabo sueco tacos from Martes. They were between $5-6 each, so not bad of a price. These tacos were so delicious, I didn't want them to end! I was so glad I went and tried these, but you can't go wrong with the other vendors either. The empanadas at Del Sur are amazing! Overall very cool spot to hang out, but can get expensive quickly if you don't pay attention.“

“Amazing place to go for dinner. We had a large party (12) and they treated us like kings and queens! The personal touch was great and the various servers who attended to us were all incredible. We have been coming to this new location (Bloomington) since they opened. It is always excellent service. The food was beyond delicious. “I was planning a bachelor party and looked up top rated gentleman’s clubs in downtown Minneapolis. Ricks was the first club to pop up, so we made a reservation and decided to try it out. The menu had a nice variety of items - our server recommended a few things that we enjoyed (except one).My daughter and I shared the prosciutto and burrata pizza - sooooo delicious! It was a little heavy on the arugula for our taste, but once we removed some of that it was a delicious pie! My daughter said it may have been one of her favorites ever! We also shared a Caesar salad - standard. My husband really enjoyed the skillet lasagna, but the portion was actually on the small side. Our only slight disappointment was the Philly sandwich. The menu didn’t have a description, so her only ask was no onions. When it arrived it was like loose meat with a bland orange cheese on top, in a standard hoagie roll. Not a ton of flavor. She had the garlic mashed as a side and it also left her feeling meh - not a ton of flavor and the texture almost felt like instant potatoes? Weird.Our server was really great and fun,We would definitely return if we’re in the area again - maybe to try a few other pizzas!“

The renovations are great - feels more open and brighter inside.I'm a huge fan of bar "pork tenderloin" sandwiches and couldn't resist ordering one during my last visit. It was really just a deep fried pork chop on a bun. “The ambiance is warm and welcoming. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They can describe drinks and make suggestions based on your preferences. There is variety in their food and drink menus. Delicious appetizers and pizzas. Girlfriends went to celebrate one of our birthdays- the server came with a round of mini cocktails for us to toast the birthday girl. Fun night, will be back.“

Lightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside…assembled with homemade American cheese, a slice of crisp white onion on toasted white bread… the best I’ve had in my life! Chicken Gizzards: Technique, technique, technique. I can only wonder the effort and preparation on the front end that makes these gizzards so, so tender. Service was a little slow, but it was packed so that might not be the norm. It was great that you can put your name on the list for Bowling while having dinner. “Great place that's kid friendly and has 2 patios (front and back) that are both dog friendly. Good food, top notch service, great cocktails. The chicken and wild rice pot pie was a novel, yet obvious take on an old favorite. Of course those flavors go together. Can't believe it's not more common, but that's what's great about this place, they take familiar dishes and class them up. Really loved their cocktail options too. Will have to go back and try more because I was between a couple options. The blackberry sour was refreshing and had a hint of sweet to balance the tartness. Service was top notch, probably the best you'll get anywhere. Will definitely be back.Parking: There's a large parking lot that wraps around the restaurant. The back patio is in the parking lot. There's also street parking all around the lot, so if you can't find a spot in the lot, there are other options.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot more options for kids than on a standard kids menu and they had whole milk for littles. Their highchairs are better than most too with all the straps, etc. They give you crayons and the kids menu can be drawn on. Servers were good about putting food and drinks out of reach of babies and warning you about hot things. If you're looking for a family friendly meal out, this place has you covered.“

“This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.“

“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra.The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“

“Whiskey was fantastic, and I didn't think it was overpriced, as many have claimed. It's the same at any other whiskey or scotch bar, and Gori even allows you to do half pours, which is very nice. Aside from straight whiskey, the Old Fashion was one of the best I've had, very unique and balanced. They do add an extra 20% charge, but they didn't even give us the option of tipping, so that's your tip. Environment is very small but wonderful. I would live there if I were rich.“
