Cameo was full, the energy & noise level felt just right. Food as always was wonderful--they really know how to recipe and build a meal--and even though very busy, serviced was prompt, efficient and poised.

Food was stellar. I had the chicken schnitzel and it might be in my top 5 meals ever! It was pretty loud and the tables were closer together than I remember. Being only open a few more days, we knew it would be busy.

Really bummed to hear Cameo will be closing. This was our first visit for date night and we loved our experience. The atmosphere was clean and intimate, the service was attentive, and the food was phenomenal. Crossing my fingers Cameo is only temporarily closed as we would love to visit again!

We had a table of two kids, two seniors and two hipsters and each of us was satisfied Drinks were sophisticated and our dinners were tasty. Chicken cordon bleu was the nightly special and it was delicious. Finally, Devon was a fun & attentive waiter. Thank you Cameo!

We love Cameo! Their children's menu is wonderful with large portions and ice cream to boot! I am vegetarian and the chef even swapped out some tofu for chicken in my dish even though it wasn't advertised. They take such good care of you. Definitely one of our favorites in town.

We did the “experience” 5 course tasting with wine pairings. Everything was fantastic. Incredible flavors, unique dishes, and so fun to see and hear the passion involved from the waiter and chef.

My husband had the shrimp and grits and I had the salmon, so amazing, cooked to perfection. Every single meal I have had at Cameo has always been the best! My old fashioned was perfectly mixed! Thank you Cameo!

One of the best restaurants in Rochester. The menu rotates seasonally, but a core set of great dishes appears year-round. The chicken schnitzel and beef short rib are fantastic.

Grace our server is exceptional! Excellent mastery of the menu, appreciation for food artistry, and sophisticated knowledge of wine pairings. And compliments to the Chef for creative pairings and delicious experiences every time we go!

Went out with friends. My husband and I shared the surf and turf, which was excellent! Appreciate that the waitress asked if we wanted it split in the kitchen, which we did. We also had the steak bruschetta which was good enough that if I had been at home I would have licked the plate

My wife and I like Cameo. But two small complaints from last nights dinner. My wife got the beet salad, and it was served almost chilled, like it was pre-prepared and refrigerated. Our waiter was very good, he checked with the kitchen and confirmed it wasn't. The temperature it was served at though was just too chilled, for maximum enjoyment. Second, my Bolognese was a good dish, but it didn't have that extra kick: herbs, pepper, or whatever to make it anything close to what I'd recommend to a friend. Thought you might want to know. Thanks. Tim Tucker

Me and my husband came form Chicago and We invited our friends and family from Minneapolis to join us to stay at Rochester for medical purposes. I was searching for a while to choose a good place to get together and I had a high expectations for that restaurant. And it was a big disappointment. We choose 5 course tasting menu since we had a always good experience with that style dining. The price was way too high for the amount and quality of food we got served. We ended ordering additional food on top of our testing menu cuz we felt still hungry - and we are not big plates consumers. When we got first plate the presentation was good but all of the plates were chipped so u could not even take a pic. Of it. And that was first no, no on beginning. Two first plates were tasteless, two others were ok we could find some flavor in it. The dessert ok. Overall nothing to brag about , share with others or recommend. Not worth the money - overpriced cuz we went to Chester's, Pascara, Thaipop and we got excellent food experience and Payless. Much more better choices nearby so don't go there !!!
