A lovely relaxing atmosphere. We went for the Wednesday night date special and would definitely go back! We had a bottle of wine, two entrees, and dessert as part of the date night special. We also added crab nachos as an appetizer and they were so good!

Food quality was mediocre for the price you pay. Salad was served with an overwhelming amount of salad dressing. Nachos were served with a small amount of crab meat and the flavor was bitter with not much of any other flavor complimenting. Seasoned rice was over salted and the veggies tasted bitter. Noone seemed to taste any of the food before it was served. When we brought our concerns up to staff, we were told noone has ever made any complaints about the items we ordered. We should've paid attention to how there were only two other tables that were occupied. Our waiter was kind, but slow to get us anything. This added more stress to our time there. We'll be going elsewhere.

Waited on by Jason 6-6 basketball player. Hope I got the name right. Smart and knew the menu by heart. He just happened to also be the bartender. He recommended an amazing drink the I cannot describe that went well with the Chicken Tikka Marsala. Fruit and vodka....how can you go wrong. My Mayo Clinic Physician recommended the place. Go try it.

Little pricey, but food was delicious, a tad casual. Was expecting to have to change into better clothes. Buy there were t-shirted patrons?. Live piano was nice until he stopped.

Made a reservation several weeks ago for Thursday evening since it is their special Steak and Lobster night. We arrive, get seated and order drinks...a beer and a wine. The wine pour was the most pathetic I've ever seen. We inquired if it was correct it was so little. We were informed that they have strict pours of no more than 5 ounces...problem was there was no way it was 5 ounces. I'd say 3 at most. Then came the shocker! 6pm and they had no steak and lobster...apparently they ran out. So we decided to call it, and headed to Sorellina's instead where to our delight they were not out of pasta! Excellent dinner there....and a decent pourto boot. Sorry Chez Bojji, we won't be back!

Most likely the best all around fine dining in Southern MN. Every dish is either French or "Frenched up" . Get the Tikka Masala and you will know what I mean. It's been 10 out of 10 everytime.

Chez Bojji is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion! If you were a fan of Casablanca, you will recognize a few old favorites. The Moulin Rouge Cabaret chicken is as incredible as I remember from both previous locations. There isn't a mocktail menu; however, when I asked if they had any, the server offered to make something up for me, asked my preferences & dislikes, and brought me something perfectly delicious. There are unique upscale dishes on the menu (some dishes change, don't rely on the website) as well as interesting burgers for those who may be less adventurous. Beautiful aesthetic, decorated for springtime, with the perfect instrumental music in the background. The historic Avalon location is worth reading about. It's definitely a place not to be missed! BONUS: The Wednesday night date night special pricing can't be beat!Parking: Parking is in back of the building. Read the signs as some spaces are reserved for tenants.

We had a lovely meal for four with attentive and helpful service by Malachi. My halibut was fresh, as promised, in a delicious sauce. The lamb was just right and came with a middle eastern spiced rice. The Moulin Rouge was a big hit, but very rich. Enzo Pasta with shrimp was also excellent. If they offer the brownie, say yes! We split it 4 ways and everyone loved it. The cooking was creative, beautiful, and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Chez Bohji. The restaurant itself was lovely, very modern and bright. Our waiter, Malachai, was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The food was interesting, super fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband and I probably could have shared an entree as we’re not big eaters but having an the opportunity to sample several dishes was worth it. We’ll definitely be back.

Romantic and classy environment. Attentive service. World-class food - made by the owner himself. This place is a gem.

The food was excellent. We thought we would have an option for an appetizer rather than a desert on the date nite special. The waitress brought one small ice cream which surprised us we each didn't get one. Overall, great experience

I've eaten here a few times and really want to love it, but the quality of service brings down the whole experience. It's very disappointing because I think Chez Bojji makes some of the best food in Rochester.Food is really great, I love the Moulin Rouge Cabaret Chicken, and the croquettes are delicious. Most recently, however, the steak was overcooked (which is surprising for a sous vide prepared filet). Also I had the crabcakes which were delicious, but the dish could have used a remoulade or something, crabcakes and rice together was a bit dry.Atmosphere is ok. It's an upscale style, but to pull it off, I think the lights could be a little lower, and having candles on all the tables would make a big difference. It would be really nice to have someone playing piano there too. I do love seeing the chef and how he tries to greet everyone.Service is really holding this place back. I have no problem with a slow dinner, I've had many great dinners that last 3 hours or more. But in this case orders were forgotten, appetizers came out after dinner, and a bottle of wine we ordered took nearly 30 minutes to bring to the table. I imagine they are understaffed, but at the time there were maybe 5 tables dining. If a half-full restaurant on a Saturday night is a struggle, I can't imagine how service would be for a full house.I really hope this place is able to get it together, but it is not delivering an upscale experience that matches the price they're charging.

We love Chez Bojji. My steak was the best I have ever had! All 4 of us were very pleased with the food. Natalie was a great server. The piano music couldn't have been better. looking forward to our next visit. Bob Church

We had a wonderful experience @ Chez Bojii. Our server, Ezekiel, was very attentive and kept us entertained throughout dinner. Our food was outstanding and prepared to order. The atmosphere was festive but not overwhelming from a volume standpoint. I will always make a point of planing a “dinner night” here when visiting Rochester in the future.

Staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. There was no rush to order and eat, we were encouraged to take all the time we needed to enjoy our time. The chef personally checked on us several times to ensure we were happy and the food was prepared to our expectations.
