I had the rib tips and they were good. The muffin and beans were tasty and the mashed potatoes weren't bad but not great. The server could have been a little more attentive but she was friendly. My wife had a burger that she liked but she said the mac and cheese she ordered was not great. She also had slaw which she liked. All in all it was a good experience.
I've never had a bad meal or experience here. For a chain, the ribs are spot on!

Seriously if there was an option to pick ZERO stars I would have. Famous Dave's is one of my top 5 restaurants in Rochester. Even though I'm on a 75-hard challenge of 75 days without meat, I still yearn for Famous Dave's sauces. Tonight I placed an online order for broccoli, beans & corn with Wilbur's sauce on the side. First off when I got there, I waited 10 minutes before anyone even checked to see what I needed. Then when they finally did, it was a very sweet, cool, loving waitress, who helped me. She struggled at first as she thought i was there to place an order. I wasn't, I was there to pick up an order I placed online. Long story short I asked for some BBQ sauce as again, they forgot to put it in my bag. I had specified I wanted Wilbur's sauce online & they didn't give me any. The new waitress went back to get my sauce and it took another 10 minutes, she finally came back and said "My boss said that because you didn't order meat, we can't give you any sauce." REALLY???? WTHELL? Does the boss lady get to decide who puts BBQ sauce on what? The most ridiculous thing I ever heard. The manager wouldn't give me sauce cause I didn't order meat. I dip my broccoli in it every time I go there to eat. Fortunately, she didn't see me or she woulda wiped the BBQ sauce right off my plate Unbelievable, poor poor service, food was cold, and I had to drink the Wibur's baked beans because they forgot to give me plasticware.

My wife and I went on a Thursday around 5. I had forgotten how great this place is. We were seated right away. The server took very good care of us. I had a ribs and brisket combo plate with beans and mashed potatoes. It was all good, but the meat was especially delicious. The portion size was just right for me. I was surprised how fast the food came after we ordered. It was for sure under 10 minutes. The dining room was clean and decorated with fun signs.
Had take out about a year ago from here and it was amazing!Went to eat in person today, the salads were amazing and the server was amazing. Checking in, wasn't sure if the store was open and when finally greeted they apologized (place was empty). No biggie. Moving on, all of meat we got was either burnt (I got a rack of ribs that was not good, beyond bbq'd) or was off in flavor (my husband got a choice of 3 meats and was disappointed).I didn't complain as it looked burnt so they knew what was being sent out. Will not be going back and strongly recommend checking out somewhere else to eat. 1/2 hour later now, I feel sick.
