We got into town late (8pm) and stopped in to eat. Place is dark an out dated, greeter was nice and chipper bit, our waitress was probably passed retirement and grouchy. Lighting makes for reading small print menu hard and took forever to get our drinks (soda). I am a huge fan of the French dip and I didn't even eat half of it. The aju left that greasy feeling in your mouth and way too salty. My husband got the Ruben and he liked it and would eat it again. I would give them another try maybe not so late in the evening but wasn't a fan that time around.

Husband tried the southwest burger special with sweet potato fries - he inhaled it and we both thought these fries were very good, slightly crispy exterior and tender. I tried the southwest steak salad - it wasn't very southwest with its barely cajun ranch dressing and marinated diced tomatoes. The steak could be cooked a bit less to show more pink - I appreciate the thin slices. Salad could definitely use more cheese. Their breakfast menu looked pretty good - maybe I'll try it next time. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Spent time at the bar after a bad day. Had a wonderful bartender. He was admittedly new. He did a great job with the drinks and conversation.

Expected of a hotel grill. Came in just before closing not realizing it and it was a little obvious. Sandwich was good. Asked for well done fries and they were great!

Really cool old bar and grill. Gorgeous wood work and I hope this opens as a full time restaurant not just an event venue...love it.

The food is wonderful and the stuffing is delicious .The atmosphere and service couldn’t be better. Feels good to sit down and be out of the clinic setting with out having to leave the hotel.

The place is dated, definitely not for the younger crowd. Service was ok, the server was not friendly enough. The buffalo chicken salad was very good, the Alfredo pasta was ok. Would not go back.

It's the second time I have eaten at this restaurant. Service is always good. This time I had the half Caesar salad and the special Patty Melt, which was just fine. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here but happened to have had a whole day of tests at Mayo that required fasting so I needed somewhere close when I could finally eat.

Great restaurant right in the Grand Kahler hotel. Good food at reasonable prices. Highly ret the Eggs Benedict for breakfast! And, if you're lucky, Kim will be your server. She's awesome! Oh, and they also serve a very tasty Bloody Mary with a beer chaser?

At the Kahler Grand and the Towers at Kahler the Grand Grill quietly sits, unpretentiously offering great atmosphere, premiere service and solidly consistent great food. The Grand Grill is right across the street from the East door of the Gonda/Mayo building entrance on the first floor of the Kahler Hotel building. It is such a refreshing change from the "quickie" places in the subway and from the cafeteria style food that you find elsewhere. You can be out of the clinic, across the street and in the Grand Grill in 4 minutes. I have been eating there for over a decade. I still see some of the same staff that I saw the very first time I went in there. You will be very well treated. They are friendly, helpful, and patient. The breakfast is soooo good. They serve sausage biscuits and gravy like I have never had anywhere in this world - not even my grandmother's. The biscuits are made with CHEDDAR & CHIVE - soft, moist and tasty with thick, rich gravy full of perfectly seasoned sausage. The lunch and dinner menu is a perfect balance of choices. They are all prepared well and come out quickly and still hot. I typically stay away from hotel restaurants. However, while at the Towers at Kahler, I eat at the Grand Grill several times in a week. This restaurant staff works hard to provide a great experience. You won't go wrong.
