Waited 7 minutes for my double late. It was never made. Asked for a refund. Went somewhere else (Steam cafe down the street on Broadway). Absolutely ridiculous service by teenagers who are more interested in chatting with each other than making drinks.

Had a great experience at Moka recently! I was looking for a cafe with WiFi to set up shop in between appointments, and Moka has a great convenient location. Service is honestly the biggest thing I noticed during my visit. The barista (maybe owner?) greeted me with a huge smile and welcome. Multiple people during my short time here came in and knew her by name - they asked about her holiday plans and when she would reopen after a short holiday break. It was clear she had created community here - something that's really special in a cafe. I got a hot matcha and it had great flavor. I also got a gluten-free chocolate chip scone that felt a bit dry, but otherwise good. There seating definitely fills up fast in here with some fellow visitors and medical students, so I ended up sharing a table with some students. Outlets were a bit limited as well. I started seeing Moka pop up around me after my visit - my friend in Madison swears by their coffee beans, and others rave about their coffee and lattes. Give them a try in Rochester!

I ordered a peppermint white chocolate mocha. It was too sweet to drink. So sweet that it didn’t seem to have coffee in it at all. Of course I didn’t take the first sip until I was on the other side of town and I didn’t want to drive all the way back.

Lilly is always very kind and always has a smile on her face. Her and Alexis are always in a great mood. They can carry a conversation while also getting my drink out quick! Never gotten a bad drink from one of them gals. Lilly gives me frooties even when I’m not getting a kids drink… BONUS! Except for the blue one “I know Alexis likes those” Moka always has some bangers playing over the speakers. The versatility of their playlist is unheard of. But it’s all kid friendly of course. I hear so much about Mickey being the funnest manager and her spunky earrings are so cool! Line usually goes pretty quick and even when they are in a rush the service is still spot on. 10/10 coffee shop and the best moka in town by far to my experience.Kid-friendliness: Cheap kids drink and they come with a sticker and a candy

Nice enough barista , considering I had a couple questions. Fast service. Ginger bread pastry was OK. Little dry. The problem was the coffee. I bought a house blend w/steamed oat milk, no sugar except whatever chocolate favor they could add. There is a flavor I cannot identify. I tried to convince myself that it is a spice of some sort that just accidentally got in there. Pumpkin… nutmeg maybe… But my brain won’t be convinced. It is too much like soap or perfume. Not sure if the last cleaning left a little soap residue or maybe there was some hand sanitizer or lotion on someone’s hands, but every sip has the flavor, so… Turns out I can’t finish it. I really feel like this was an odd thing, though… I could tell the coffee would’ve been delicious. If whatever got into it, didn’t get into it,?♀️

The service was excellent! The lady that took our order was so nice and helpful. If you like strong coffee, this is the place for you. It was delicious, but it was just too strong for me. I have lots of digestive issues, so I have to be careful. For normal people, this is a great place to get coffee!

Stopped for our regular coffee. They seem to put less and less coffee in the cup all the time. Like at least 3-4 ounces short. What am I paying for. Stuff floating in it today- I can’t do this. Would prefer gas station coffee to this across the street. Ugh ?.Nope.Used to have maple flavoring- got rid of it.I’m not even sure why- I’m out.

I just had the best blended matcha from Moka! I added vanilla and lavender and it was so delicious. The barista Lily was so sweet :)

Honestly the slowest coffee shop of all time. Everyone seems confused. They don't apologize for the wait. Coffee is pretty good but the service really detracts from the enjoyment. The set up is chaotic with cars trying to maneuver.
