The food was great, and the service was a topnotch. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was the right place for her.

The aged ribeye was delicious. The bone marrow side was almost all bone, with very little marrow.

We started with a bottle of a special red - Brunello de Malticino. Very nice wine. Ian was an OUTSTANDING server. Our filets were perfectly cooked- mine encrusted with blue cheese. The 1# baked potato is absolutely large enough to split. The Buffalo Brussels sprouts( single serving) is huge and again, large enough to split and delicious with just a hint of buffalo sauce and onions. Great dining experience- as always!

The hostess was extremely pleasant and complimented my wife's attire. They conversed all the wat to our table. Much appreciated! A very nice woman "dressed all in black" apologized for our designated server and obtained our drink orders. That same nice woman "dressed all in black" followed up bringing our table bread. Our designated server spent more time away from our table then at it. We watched other servers engage with their table, making multiple visits, acquiring that all was well. Perhaps our server, Noella, should look into another line of work. Our visit to Pittsburgh Blue cannot be negated by poor service by one employee. We would recommend and plan to visit again in the future.

The salted steak was quite awesome. Be warned about the size, the are enormous (at least for european standards).

The food was amazing and the drinks were too. It is a pricy place to eat but it was very well done I'm the dining area and a really great experience. My stomach hurt in the morning so it lost a star but that was probably because of the major amounts of starch and food. So far the best restaurant in Rochester to me and I've tried most places!

Prime rib was the worst I’ve ever had, do not recommend. Couldn’t cut with knife, no flavor, and hard/crunchy fat. Brussels sprouts, potatoes, and wine suggestion were great though! Service was so so, seemed like our waitress wasn’t interested in us or didn’t like us.

I've been to Pittsburgh Blue many times in Edina and have been very satisfied, however, this visit to the Rochester location was a disappointment. Caesar salad had brown pieces of romaine lettuce and the broccoli that was ordered with the meal was inedible. Filet was just okay and the overall meal did not meet expectations for the cost.

The filet was pretty expensive for what it was, not much flavor and pretty charred on the ends. Potatoes were cold, but good. Ordered the brownie, would not recommend , we took one bite and that was $15 wasted. But the service was impeccable.

The steak here just isn't that good. Two petite filets that were charred on the outside and dry on the inside. Spinach salad was good as were the French fries and carrots but the bread left much to be desired and a steakhouse could and should do much better!
