The storefront may initially be generic, but despite it being a sports bar this is a spot I think has a uniqueness to it. Breakfast options were classic, heavy and hardy meals made to satisfy, and I can imagine a worker being very pleased with the selection.

Went 100% on whim. Do not be deceived. The food is worth going weekly if possible.Chicken was fantastic. Not the junk most bars and restaurants have. Also the serving size was crazy. I thought they gave us a whole chicken!County Fair Burger was tasty, but 2 patties was too much for me!Fries, onion rings, and curds were also made fresh. I appreciate places like Roosters that dont have food sitting around, its allllll freshly made to order.Photos made it look like it was a standard bar, but it was absolutely worth the spend.

Walk in and the place is only a quarter full. Sign reads wait to be seated. Two people behind the bar look at us; no smile, no hello, nothing. We continue waiting. Staff walks by, no greeting from any of them. Bartenders look at us several times, still nothing. Finally get seated. Bartender walks over to wait on us, really no greeting, not friendly. We have spent enough time in here to see he gives great service and greetings to others. The only positive experience the entire time was the young man that brought out our food, he was very friendly. Food was good. But being treated poorly makes this a no for me. They seem to only like and appreciate the regulars. So if you are not a regular, good luck.
Battered shrimp is to die for. Adding that the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy is the best I have ever had in 40+ years of eating chicken fried steaks. I realized it was because it was not over seasoned like most. The flavor of each part, the crispy coating, the steak and the sausage gravy each come through to provide a wonderful taste banquet. Can't say as I have ever had anything I didn't like there and the service is wonderful and friendly.
