We were so excited to eat here, because the kids seen them on tv. Sure wish we never went. They need to train their employees how clean to cook and with service issues. The place was filthy. Garage on tables, just nasty dirty No one seemed to know what was happening, everyone seemed lost and confused. Our food was not good. Cold fry’sDry flavorless burger. We had our family of 8 all ready to eat after spending the day at Mayo Clinic. Should have eaten at the cafeteria. Instead we wasted $200 on garbage food. We didn’t eat it, literally threw it away. It’s pathetic the kids wanted happy meals on the way back to the hotel. If I could leave zero stars I would. Undercover boss needs to come and fire everyone!!! This location sucks!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Ordered here for lunch today. Never again. To start off -and this may be a Door Dash issue- my order was delivered to the complete opposite side of the building I work in, even though I put in the instructions where to meet me. Once I got back to my desk, I opened the burger box to find obviously old lettuce on my burger. Took a few bites of my burger and decided that was enough of that. There was ZERO flavor to it. The fries were cold, bland, and soggy by the time they got to me. I paid close to $18 and am pretty pissed. Do not go here. Fingers crossed I don't get sick.

Its ok if you want a quick lunch, but I put in on par with Burger King, food is nothing special but the service was excellent.

Super neat atmosphere with lots of TV's and the restaurant was very clean. Our waiter was absolutely awesome and very attentive. Unfortunately, the burger was so greasy that it was not appetizing at all. Maybe this was a one off experience. I'd be willing to give it another try.

I have been to the Wahlburger in the MOA and remember the burgers being good and my son loved the chocolate cupcake shake. We had a very busy day, we were tired and hungry. We decided to order take out tonight. For the four of us- it was $60, pretty average for a meal out.I ordered pretzel bites as everyone likes them. Supposed to be covered with Parmesan cheese and have cheese dip and honey mustard. They were cold bites, not heated, zero salt, seasoning or dip. Honestly I could have gone to the bread isle and bought a bag for $4.99 vs the $11 we paid and had a whole bag instead of just 8 dry bites. Total waste of money. No one would eat them they were that bad and bland. We had 2 different burgers. Both were cooked as they wanted and were very good. They were both happy with their meals. My son and I on the other hand were pretty let down and had to heat up a frozen pizza for dinner.I ordered the 2 piece fried chicken, side of corn and tater tots. The fried chicken was baked chicken. Not what I ordered, but still okay I understand mistakes happen. But the leg was so dried out from setting under a heat lamp it was hard on top. However, the inside wasn’t fully cooked. It was still raw chicken. I’m so glad my son didn’t get this and eat it. He may not have realized it was still raw. Like pink raw with juices coming out. Not at all edible. The thigh was the same way. Raw inside, but not hard on the outside like the leg. In the trash it went. The corn was fine but the tater tots had been cooked in advance. Then cooled and deep fried a second time. They were a horrible second fry color and nearly hallow inside- in the trash they went too.My son ordered the grilled cheese, with fries, & shake. No shake, we didn’t even realize when my hubby picked up the meal. The fries were missing from his order and the grilled cheese was just toast that was burn and a slice of cheese between the bread. Not melted at all. He had zero interest in it and I totally understand. Yuck. Who eats burnt toast with a slice of cheese?So- we didn’t have a good meal. Two family members heated their burgers and ate while my son and I waited for the frozen pizza to cook. We were given a pick up window of 7:30-7:35pm to pick up our meal. We live nearby and planned to leave the house at 7:20pm. But I get a text at 7:14pm the food is ready. So by the time my hubby got there, it had been ready for 15 minutes. Ugh. Then he had to drive home. If they assign a pick up time- have it ready then. I much rather wait and get hot food, then take home food setting for 15 minutes. So much I disliked about the whole mess. Not good food- unless you get a burger. I guess that’s what it’s called and you should stick with the burger if you eat there. Lesson learned the hard way. Never again.Kid-friendliness: While there are kid things on the menu the grilled cheese we got for my son was horrible. It was burnt toast with cheese inside . It wasn’t warm or melted. My son didn’t eat it.

This was our first time here. We came in through the outside door. There were no wait to be seated or seat yourself signs so we found a table and sat down. It was 6om on a Saturday. The bar was full but the dinning room was pretty empty, which is unusual for a restaurant in Rochester on a Saturday evening! As we waited, my granddaughter had to go to the restroom so we walked out into the Hy-Vee and used the restroom. On the way back we noticed an "order here" counter, no visible from the outside doors we entered through. We went out to order and guy taking our order admitted he didn't know anything about the menu as he was a Hy-Vee employee who was tald he had to work there because the restaurant was short staffed. We then had to go into the bar to order drinks because he couldn't do that out there. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a blackberry bourbon lemonade (from the menu) and was told by the bartender she didn't know how to make it and didn't have ingredients to make it. I then ordered a sangria and was told the same. Ended up with a beer. The bartender admitted that she was also from the grocery store, had never bartended before and just learned how to pour a good tap beer!! On a positive, the food was good! I felt bad for these employees being put in such a horrible position! They could have/ should have closed the restaurant if they were that short staffed. They were not busy and wouldn't have been losing our on much.

The last time we had dinner at this location was pre-pandemic. This used to be Hy-Vee Market Grille when we were last here in 2018. Back then, they had a full menu and full service. It really was not too bad. Fast forward to Sunday, October 1, 2023. My wife and I decided to dine here again. Little did we know that everything had changed. Now called Wahlburgers, though the interior has not changed and they still have a full bar. All else is different. This is like a fast food joint only with a full bar. No servers to wait on your table. You have to go outside the restaurant and into the grocery store and place your order at a kiosk. You have to get your own glass of water (or soda) at a nearby fountain area. Then you get a number to put on your table for them to bring your food out. If you want an alcohol drink, you have to place a separate order at the bar. It seemed everyone working here was new to the job and really didn't know what was going on. Half price appetizers, but only a select few and no one knew which ones. Happy hour (at 6PM) but no menu to tell what was half price. My wife had a salad, but they gave no dressing for it. I had the Wahlapeno Burger with Sweet Potato Tots. The burger was tiny and messy, the jalapenos were tasteless. Our food arrived but we had no utensils. Maybe we were supposed to pick them up ourselves? How were we supposed to know that? I would say with no table service and mediocre food, this place is way overpriced. We will not be back.
