Very friendly staff, clean restaurant. The food was horrible. Lo mein was barely boiled thin Ramen noodles. Fresh veges, older tasting sparse beef. The fried rice tasted several days old.

The food was good even though mine could have had a bit more spicy heat. The server was quite friendly, the prices very reasonable, and the portions large. We will go back

I'm from the East Coast and so far haven't found a decent Chinese food place in Rochester Minnesota. The service was nice. The egg foo young left an unpleasant texture and taste of old burnt oil in my mouth. The fried wontons (their crab rangoons) were the consistency of hard plastic and tasted as if they were fried the day before and kept under a heat lamp. The egg roll was inedible and the inside wasn't cooked. Very mushy, the color and texture of cream of wheat and flavorless. The chicken lo mein was something I've never seen before. Not like any lo mein I've ever had. It was ramen or angel hair and overwhelmed with bean sprouts. The flavor was not pleasant. Had trouble finding enough chicken to call it chicken lo mein, was mostly vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken were small nuggets, tasted like fried in old dirty oil.

The worst Chinese food I've ever had! Took order to go. Egg rolls were mushy. The Mongolian beef was 3 small pieces of beef and the rest was cabbage. No flavor. Fried rice had no flavor. Everything tasted like grease. We threw it all away.... Even my kids who love any Chinese food wouldn't eat it. Never again.. probably should have figured they we weren't good when there was one person eating in the restaurant at 6:00 on a Saturday.

I was having a really bad day. Got hungry and was walking past this place. Decided to stop in. Sam, the host, was fantastic and the fried rice and potstickers were delicious. I needed this. Totally turned my day around.

My entire family loves to eat @ Cantonese "Wong's" Cafe! I worked at "Wong's" (downtown Rochester) for 8 years in the 1980's! Egg Roll is the greatest on Planet Earth! The food is still amazing, as it was in 1952 when Ben & Neil Wong started the Cafe! Great Menu, we love Soups, Imperial Chicken, Dinner #1 ect! Best rice in town. The owners have held up the excellent tradition! Sam: serves dinner with a smile & Take Out rules! Just as it did in the days of Mike, Izzy, Steve, Dennis, Cary, Ron & Ginny Wong & then Phala Nguyen! Amazing food, family & tradition! We love the current location! A+Vegetarian options: My 30 year old Daughter loves the Vegetarian Food! So good, I love it also!

Not the best, yet not the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We ordered takeout, which took forever. The food was hot and fresh, just not a lot of depth of flavor. I would not order food from here again.

I do not enjoy sharing a bad review. Tonight we ordered shrimp and rice with broccoli. Ugh! The rice was mushy and the shrimp was over cooked. We're not likely to order from here until they
