The tables are crammed in so tight you feel like you’re eating with others. They add 20% to every bill and then suggest you add a 18-20% tip on top of it. It all seems too desperate for me to ever return. The experience of dining is stressful because they have so many people packed into the place. It can’t be up to code. And auto 20% add on plus asking for tip rules not out for me. Which is too bad because i’m a local.

First impressions weren’t great. It’s a very “cozy” restaurant and the Daiquiri my wife ordered was rough. With all that being said, the food was incredible! Very nice little spot with some impeccable food but overpriced and underwhelming cocktails. I would highly recommend trying oysters!
My new favorite go to spot close to me. Foods upscale and delicious but fairly priced. Cocktails are great, the bar itself is beautiful to look at, love the little oil lamps on each table. Just the best addition to grand ave in my opinion.

We tried Bar Cart for the first time last night and it was SO GOOD! We made it just in time for their happy hour- ordered nachos, old fashioned, and wine. The nachos were perfectly covered in cheese. The coconut curry sea bass was easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The sea bass was a little crispy on the outside and the curry was incredible. The smash burger was tasty and flavorful. My husband said it was the best burger he's had in that price range. We wanted dessert but didn't save enough room! Lastly, the service and ambiance were superb- friendly, cozy, yet upbeat. Would definitely recommend coming here for dinner! We will be back :)

Please let me know when you sound proof. Have dined here once and on my second time we left before we could order due to the impossibility of talking during the meal. Even our server said “yeah, I don’t blame you”Would like to try again…when conversation is possible.

Our group of four visited BarCart for the first time on Sat. Feb. 10. We had reservations at 5:00. It was very busy, but we were seated quickly. The menu options, food, and drink at this restaurant were amazing- impressive. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Parking is convenient next door in a lot reserved for customers.Unfortunately, BarCart's atmosphere was incredibly noisy, crowded (small tables) and quite dark. It was so loud, you had to shout at one another or read lips in the darkness. Disappointing for the restaurant, as the food and drink was excellent.
